I thought all the employees were extremely nice. Couldn't find any light switch for the gym. The overhead lights had only four panels that were working. no remote for tv. I do not expect much from a gym at any hotel but I think the bare essentials would be nice. The second night a very loud family checked in. Slamming doors. Didn't care that it was past ten. At almost midnight their children ran screaming down the hallway. Do I blame the children? No I blame the parents. I do blame the hotel for having a "prop phone" in my room. No dial tone. Actually it wasn't even connected. So i had to use my cell phone to call the Reservation number which than had to call the hotel. By this time if the children hadn't ruined my much needed sleep--the phone call did. I think it is nice that some hotels offer pet stay--however you have to be responsible for walking your dog down a hallway as you allow it to bark. And maybe you can pick up the dogs poo that you left at the elevator. I have stayed at Holiday Inn Express & Suites before. This was my worse experience

Surrounding area was being evacuated due to flash flood warning. Because of the rivers and not wanting to risk being stuck there for the flood we decided to leave early we ask if a refund or transfer to another day was possible and they told me yes initially but because I book through a 3rd party they couldn't. I talked to said 3rd party and they communicated with the hotel who then refuse to refund or transfer to another day due to the weather situation. We are down the price of 2 rooms because we choose to not stay there and risk being stuck in the flood.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and roomy. The exercise room was large, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was also terrific!

The room was ok for a quick stay. The roof had patches that looked like it was about to break back open. It doesn’t have a freezer just a mini fridge.

Guest services and all employees are extremely nice and professional. Best of my stay.

Hot tub hasn’t been cleaned in a long time

Nice hotel, however after one night, noticed mold on ceiling above the tub. The hotel quickly cleaned up the mold and moved us to a suite. One thing I noticed was there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. This probably contributed to the mold. While the breakfast plentiful, thought it bland and boring. The fact that it was not pet friendly, means I would stay there again!

Clean and quiet place nice pool n good service breakfast was good

This the second time that we have stayed at this property. We came back because the manager and staff were absolutely amazing when we stayed there last year. The manager, Heather, remembered us immediately. That speaks profoundly to me. The service was extraordinary!!! 10/10, we recommend!!!
