Nice, comfortable place that was close to the neighborhood we were visiting. Breakfast spread was good and staff were pleasant. Bed was surprisingly very comfortable. I slept very well here! There's a lovely walking path around the local park a block away from the hotel.
This is not the hotel's fault! There is literally no public or private transportation out of Socorro! The hotel staff explained that the public shuttle to Albuquerque is unreliable and runs intermittently. We were finally able to book a private car from our 5 star hotel in Albuquerque to come and get us. Definitely an opportunity for someone to make a few hundred dollars extra every now and again to transport people back and forth between Socorro and Albuquerque.
Great experience with everyone there.
great
Staff was friendly, room was great.
We played cards in the dining room in the evening and appreciated their willingness to let us do that.
The room was wonderfully spacious and comfortable.
The rooms are newly renovated.
The breakfast wasn't great, but their oven was put of order so the breakfast was prepacked.
There was no hot breakfast
It is next to the highway. Staff was friendly.
I’m still waiting for the incidental hold to be released on my card, and it has now been a full month, which is completely unacceptable. I’ve stayed at many hotels across New Mexico, and I’ve never had a hold take anywhere near this long. Most places charge around $50, but this location placed a $100 hold and has yet to release it.
We usually stay with Hilton Hotels, and in my experience, the hold is released promptly after checkout. That hasn’t been the case here at all.
On top of that, the bed was far too soft, I didn’t sleep well, and I woke up with back pain. The breakfast was okay, but I’ve definitely had better at hotels in even smaller towns.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Between the unresolved $100 hold and the poor stay, I will not be staying at Holiday Inn or its affiliated properties again.
great
liked everything. It mainly was just a place to stop on the way to Grand Canyon
Very friendly and clean, exactly as expected
The breakfast was limited to broken oven but the sandwich was good. The was a great addition
The bathroom sink needed updating, the faucet leaked. That was the only thing wrong because the room was in great shape.
Breakfast adequate. Good yogurt choices.
Coffee bland and weak.
Location and hot tub
Super loud people above.
Perfect new hotel close to Bosque del Apache. Clean and comfortable. Staff is very nice. Rooms are large.
It is slightly expensive but it must be due to the location.
