A terrific place to stay in a wonderful Gold Rush town
Pros:

What a wonderful, quiet, comfortable hotel. Very walkable to where we were going. Friendly and helpful staff! Our room was well appointed and very comfortable. We will return.

Strike gold
Pros:

King room with walk-in shower. Got a third floor room away from the freeway noise although not sure I would have heard it
Very Good buffet breakfast with warm eggs bacon, etc.

We made many trips up that hill to downtown. Good exercise!
Pros:

When I called housekeeping to let them know our room hadn't been serviced, I received a personal apology from one of the staff later in the day that it would be addressed. That meant a lot!

Cons:

Maybe if the air conditioner were quieter.

Clean room. Good breakfast. Quiet location

Cons:

Had to ask for a bath mat as mine was missing.
Front desk staff could have been more friendly. Asked for a late check out. They gave me an extra 30 min and my room key was disabled at 11 and had to get a housekeeper to let me into my room.

Pros:

I like the location and how close it is to my destination. It is walking distance from the Center for the Arts.

Cons:

I think that a different shower head would work better in that shower. The spray shoots out in too wide of an area and ends up wetting the floor in the bathroom.

Pros:

Great location, comfortable room, very cordial staff. Nice towels (always a sign of a better hotel) included evening drinks and breakfast. Decent strong coffee too.

Cons:

Loud air conditioner (which fortunately we didn't need at night. Key cards kept losing their ability to open door. some fresh fruit at breakfast would have been nice, but all in all totally pleasant experience.
