Great place to stay near Wausau and Granite Peak skiing!
Pros:

Though this of course isn't a 5 star hotel, for Holiday Inns it gets a 5 star! - From the nice staff (Tony at the front desk was great), to the well apportioned breakfast, a working pool and hot tub and a fitness room superior to most in hotels of this class. - We have stayed here before and would stay here again if in the area!

Amazing/ Appreciative
Pros:

During a very overwhelming/stressful time for me, Keith Malwitz and staff made me feel very comfortable and welcome!!! They were all so caring and accommodating!! Made me feel like Family! I will never forget how Amazing the staff was and I want them to know how Appreciative I am of them!!!
Also: The rooms were very clean, breakfasts were great and had great pool, exercise room and laundry room was a Bonus!!!

Perfect Hotel for a family trip to Granite Peak.
Pros:

Clean and comfortable spot, only a 10 min drive to Granite Peak. Indoor pool, hot tub and sauna is great for relaxing after a day on the slopes. Beds are comfortable with soft sheets and fluffy pillows. Plenty of towels and a mini-fridge. Free breakfast each morning had plenty of variety to keep everyone happy and a great start to the day. Friendly staff. 10/10 would recommend!

Great Staff
Pros:

The staff was absolutely awesome—super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating from check-in to check-out. The hotel is very close to the mountain, which made getting on the slopes quick and easy. Clean, comfortable rooms and great facilities overall. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone skiing Granite Peak.

We keep coming back, year after year!
Pros:

Amazing and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and have everything you need! My kids get so excited breakfast, and I take advantage of the Peloton in the Gym.
