Wonderful stay
Pros:

We were able to check in a little early which was a great surprise. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and there was plenty of shampoo and conditioner for us to use. We got a doordash order and the front desk called to let us know it had arrived. We were able to have breakfast in the morning before we leave and it had lots of options and as a traveler with children it was a wonderful surprise to find something they can eat.

Cons:

I couldn't find a station to fill outer waterbottles but maybe I just couldn't find it or there wasn't one on the third floor.

Great hotel, but stay in the rooms on the side away from the main street
Pros:

Very clean, excellent coffee, better than most coffee at any hotel, beds were very comfortable and room well supplied.

Cons:

We had a room facing the main street in front of the hotel and the traffic noise was loud enough that we needed earplugs. I would stay in the rooms on the backside of the hotel in the future.

The entire town and property are fresh and contemporary. Loved the large bathroom counter and luxurious walk-in shower. This is the only hotel I remember where room temp was where I wanted it, as I arrived!

Mold not what you would expect in a hotel from IHG
Pros:

It had black mold above the shower. Not what you would expect for a Holiday Inn Express and for the price being at the top end for the area. It shows not all hotels are run to the same level.
Access was nice and the staff was polite, but it the mold made you feel more like you were in a Super 8.

This was the most delightful hotel. On paper, it doesn't seem like it's anything special, but the rooms were super clean and the staff were the most friendly and pleasant hotel staff I've interacted with in a long time. I very much appreciate everyone that works there.

We had a good stay at the Vernal Holiday Inn Express. They were just finishing a remodel so not all the amenities were available but what they had redone looked great. Breakfast was good but they ran out of coffee and I had to leave before they refilled... it took quite a while. Would certainly recommend for a 1 night layover like we had.
