Its proximity to Gas Lamp, Ballpark, etc without being in the middle of everything. I liked the location. The property itself was nice in general. But the room(s) seemed a little outdated for the price.
Price although I did get a great deal through 3rd party vs if I had booked direct with Hilton. The food was so expensive for what it was. I was extremely disappointed with most of what I ordered. For room service, one of the items had a hair in it and I didn’t know until half way through my meal. Of course I didn’t finish. And another had a fruit fly. Yuck! I was too busy to complain but that is something I was going to bring up.

Breakfast options were limited - we prepaid for breakfast and could only choose from half of the menu options. The restaurant staff was friendly but super slow with service.

We are staying at the Hilton San Diego Bay front hotel for the IUEC convention. I eat breakfast in the restaurant every morning and Jorge has been my waiter. He has been attentive knows exactly what I want makes and keeps my coffee cup filled. I have a lot of food allergies and they have been so great at accommodating for all of my food allergies.
I can’t express how fantastic this trip has been.
Stacy was very attentive and super nice. Mal was awesome as a host. Food was great.
