Ongoing Cleanliness Problems
Pros:

View is beautiful and location is great; however, housekeeping is poor for the price point. My first room had hair in the shower, stained towels, and no iron when I arrived. Housekeeping helped by quickly delivering towels and an iron and doing spot cleaning. My second night, the tv started power cycling by itself. Staff moved me to a room upgrade and gave me a small credit. The next day in my upgraded room, I returned to find used housekeeping gloves sitting on top of the dresser. I’d recommend finding a different hotel in the area.

Fantastic stay
Pros:

We ran into this wonderful guest, ambassador, Maryann. She was very helpful on giving us information on the Hilton vacation packages and the beautiful Bayfront hotel. Location was very convenient close to Coronado Island. They actually even provide a free shuttle back-and-forth, which helped greatly with his experience.

Hotel is very clean with nice amenities! Hotel is nearby and walkable to downtown. Cesar was very helpful with recommendations to do around town and hooking us with Hilton rewards points! Highly recommend!

Wonderful Views
Pros:

Ya, I could live here. The Hilton San Diego Bayfront is great. The prices are fair and if you are lucky you will get a room with a beautiful view of the Bay. It is right there. You can talk to it. The SD Convention Center is nearby if you are headed there or you can just stay there and not leave.

It has a walkway to Petco Park if you need that.

The rooms are not huge, but big enough to be comfortable. They are super clean, the beds are great as is the TV and everything that comes with you room.

Our room was ready on time and it was so pretty.

They have a great bar and good places to eat. They have a pool.

Check in and out is so easy and you get Hilton points, it is free to sign up for that.

The maid staff is great. You want extra towels they have you. They have everything and you will love it.

Stay at Hilton and Leave Poor and Angry

Hilton has become the ultimate case study in "the Great Extraction." It is a masterclass in charging premium prices for bargain-bin quality, where hospitality has been completely replaced by a relentless quest to see how much they can squeeze out of your wallet.

Staying here for $500 a night is just the entry fee to a scam. You’ll be charged $50 for a sandwich that tastes like a shipping container and $30 for a "cocktail" poured straight from a pre-mix jug. Even the basic amenities—the things you’d actually expect to be included at this price point—are hidden behind additional, triple-digit paywalls. Every single interaction feels like a predatory attempt to nickel-and-dime you into submission.

Don’t let the glossy marketing and professional photography fool you. There is no value to be found here; it is a zero-sum experience designed to leave you broke and furious. Save your sanity and skip the entire chain.

Pros:

Extraordinary San Diego Hilton property, service and location! Hudson & Nash restaurant servers Daniel & Luis E were outstanding. Truly embodied Hilton quality & hospitality. Dined with them 4 times in 3 days.

Guest ambassador MarryAnn was also lovely and very helpful!

Overall one of best Hilton brand properties we’ve enjoyed!

Concierge is the BEST!!

OH my word Karin (Alex day of ;) could not have been more amazing!!!
I had a lovely time at the hotel but the Concierge hospitality is superior, I was traveling for a work trip and one of our co-workers had her birthday on our travel day. I had called a few days earlier to understand the options and was excited, but GOODNESS did they over deliver, from flowers, cake, her favorite snack all delivered to her room, they truly went above and beyond! I know for a fact my co-worker will always remember the way you made her feel so special and celebrated on her birthday, thank you thank you, keep surprising and delighting!

Bien si vas a una convención
Pros:

La ubicación para acudir a una feria. Está justo al lado del centro de convenciones. La habitación y las instalaciones en general.

Cons:

El desayuno. No tienen una cafetería. Hay una especie de mercado en el que pagamos 80$ por 1 café, 3 zumos y 3 sándwiches. Exagerado.
