Beautiful waterfront view
Pros:

Hilton SD Bayfront is conveniently located near everything we wanted to see. Convention center and Gaslamp district are adjacent, ferry terminal to Coronado close, magnificent waterfront path to USS Midway, and a lengthy, but breezy walk to Amtrak Sante Fe station. A great location for a weekend getaway. Rideshares to Little Italy and Balboa Park were also reasonable.

Staff here from check-in, to the team at Cannery market, and restaurant Hudson & Nash were all lovely. Appreciate the complimentary refillable water bottles. Water in the shower took at while to get hot, and could be unpredictable.

They've done a remarkable job keeping the windows clean; almost felt like it wasn't there, and I could roll out into the bay. The views day or night are hard to top. Hilton San Diego Bayfront is clearly proud of it.

Best breakfast meeting!
Pros:

Our breakfast meeting required table space for our charts, plus a hard stop for a Keynote at AIA2026 Conference. The service at Hudson & Nash, Hilton San Diego Bayfront was exceptional. Not only was it delicious and freshly made but our server Staci ensured we had our bills and got out on time. What a delight!

Pros:

It was very clean organized. It’s just the location isn’t the best and the smell is pretty bad publicize that everything else was really wonderful.

Cons:

The only thing I didn’t like about the property a lot of stuff was happening at once like there’s no good organization where you have trucks, unloading stuff in certain areas and the parking structure procedure is kind of weird and different contractors walking around and poor guidance from the exterior staff, but besides that it was OK

Beautiful Hotel on San Diego Bay
Pros:

Having stayed numerous times at the two other bay front hotels nearby, this was my first trip to the Hilton Bayfront. In short, I should have stayed here much sooner.

It’s a beautiful, very well maintained property with sweeping views of the San Diego skyline and Coronado Island. With the public spaces spread out over three floors, it perfectly separates the lobby from the restaurants and pool areas. The room itself was spotless and larger than typical high-rise hotels.

What made our stay really special was the William the bellman. He went above and beyond to make our experience special.
Kudos to William!

This hotel is my new favorite!

Friendliest staff in the business!
Pros:

I’ve been traveling the world on business since the 1980s. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels, and I would venture to say that the Hilton Bayfront has the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered. The Breakfast restaurant has great food, and the staff is over the top, friendly and accommodating. I almost hate to leave! A couple of specific callouts are Mel and Staci and one other lady whose name I didn’t get. She is a black lady and was extremely friendly and has somewhat tall and has moderately long not straight hair. I didn’t get her name, but I would be remiss not to mention her. Thanks for the great service!
