Beautiful location, some drawbacks
Pros:

The Hilton San Diego Bayfront is next to the Convention Centre where we were attending an exhibition. This expo moves all around the USA and I can think of few places as nice as San Diego for this annual event. We arrived late at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront and resorted to spending an eye watering amount in the on site store / grocery for some sundries as the room has absolutely nothing in it upon arrival. The room itself was fantastic with ample space and a wrap around view of the marina. Harbour, Navy base. Convention centre and all surroundings. Ate at the bar on arrival night that was good, well attended and good service there. Could not be more convenient for convention centre and gaslamp downtown district. Most dinners were an easy uber ride away further in to San Diego. We had room service for breakfast a couple of mornings and that was disappointing. Poorly presented, food in a bag from the grocery store, no tray service. We did not have time to avail ourselves of all the Hilton facilities. Spent another eye watering amount in the on site Starbucks one morning. Did not get to pool or gym as too busy with the show. View from our room on 17th floor was exceptional as was the room itself. I’d say cost and sloppy room service is a let down for such a premier hotel but there is a lot to like about Hilton San Diego Bayfront and we’d stay again if in town.

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with great water views that added to the experience. Noise wasn’t an issue, which made it easy to relax after a long day.

The hotel itself makes a strong first impression—the lobby is large and visually impressive, giving it a more upscale feel than the average convention hotel. That said, the on-site dining options are limited, which becomes noticeable if you’re staying multiple days or prefer convenience.

The pool is serviceable but unremarkable. It’s fine for a quick dip, but there’s no deep end and it lacks the features you’d expect from a higher-end resort-style property.

Location is good, right next to the Convention Center, and within reasonable distance to dining and other parts of downtown.

Overall: clean, quiet, and well-located, but not a destination hotel in itself.

They need to change their bedding’s
Pros:

The room was not clean, we checked in one afternoon and wanted to take a quick nap since I was tired from traveling. The bedding’s looked like they had mold/rusty. I couldn’t believe it. Had to call customer service and took a video.

SPECTACULAR HOTEL IN DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO
Pros:

I stay in San Diego often for business, multiple times a year. Without a doubt, the Hilton Bayfront is the best hotel in San Diego. The easy access to the San Diego Bay promenade to Seaport Village allows us to enjoy fantastic restaurants and shopping while viewing beautiful sunsets every evening. In parallel, the staff at the Hilton Bayfront is phenomenal, especially Maryann, who is a guest ambassador in the main lobby who is a treasure trove of knowledge and provides excellent recommendations for activities and restaurants around the city.
