Double charged the resort fee worth USD 388. After back and forth finally got refunded the overcharge. No apologies or nothing in response. Just this dry answer: Upon review we have removed he duplicate charges and refunded it to the card on
file. Updated folios have been sent to the email on file reflecting the refund.

Loved the whole experience. I have stayed at the hotel multiple times and will continue to come back. Staci has been my waitress for breakfast @ Hudson & Nash multiple times and she does a phenomenal job! Travis at the was also incredible. The Bayfront is one of my most favorite hotels across the country!

I stayed at Hilton San Diego Bay Front from 5/28-5/30/2026. I’m a Hilton Team Member and I enjoyed my stay very much! Would love to take the time to shout out the staff that was so very helpful.
Alex at the Front Desk checked me in and got me a great view from my room. He blessed me with free parking for a night and an amazing check-in process. Lesly, Andrew, and Gabby at the coffee shop were so excited to be working and I loved seeing their hard work and positivity. I have to say the person who impacted me the most was the guest ambassador, Maryann. Share the most professional and greatest attitude I’ve ever seen for a Hilton team member. I loved hearing her story and celebrating her hard work with her. She deserves to go very far I’m her career. You’re amazing, Maryann!
I would love to come visit this location in the future!

Great food great service. Today was our last day and we met a gentleman by the name of Gary from Hilton Grand Vacations. He was so nice and pleasant. He told us about the vacation destinations HGV was offering. He explained things so eloquently to us it made it very easy for us to get the Scottsdale getaway. He went over the 2 hour ownership preview with us and explained how that worked and then gave us a great suggestion on where to eat for lunch. Thanks Gary!!
Access to the ocean. The restaurants and the little store the convenience to the gas lamp.
The neighbors that were thumping their music very loud into the wee hours of the morning and slamming doors

I’m a gold Hilton member (my best friend is a platinum member) and I have stayed in quite a few Hiltons including San Diego (County including Marbrisa in Carlsbad), Las Vegas, Lisbon, Barcelona, San Juan/Condado). My top personal top three Hiltons are San Juan Caribe, Vegas Resorts World and San Diego Bayfront. San Diego Bayfront is top notch! Their customer service from housekeeping, bartenders, front desk is unmatched! Special shot out to Jordan and Jonelle! They go the extra mile to make me feel special as a Hilton gold member! Best Hilton in San Diego county!

One of our favorite hotels in San Diego! We try to do different activities every time stay, this trip we decided to ride bikes. The young workers who helped us were so friendly and helpful (Gabe Trujillo and Mythka W.) thank you the memories we made. Until next time

The room had an old carpet smell and the Traffic for the game parking that was allowed in the hotel made a lot of traffic and it was a little overpriced for everything that was going on.

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I experienced from Nianza at Hilton Bayfront San Diego during breakfast service.
From the beginning, the service was inattentive. After being seated, I waited an excessive amount of time before anyone acknowledged me, and I eventually had to stop a staff member myself just to place my order. During the meal, no one checked in to ask whether I needed anything else, a refill, or additional assistance. Once I finished eating, I left my napkins on the table and waited for quite some time hoping someone would bring the check, but no one ever approached me. I ultimately had to walk to the register myself in order to pay.
What made the experience significantly worse was the handling of the gratuity charge. I had noticed on the menu the night before that parties of a certain size would automatically be charged a 20% gratuity. However, during checkout, a 20% gratuity was added to my bill despite my understanding that it should not have applied in this situation. When I politely requested that the charge be removed or adjusted, Nianza immediately processed my resort check out and refused to void or correct it.
Her response and attitude throughout the interaction were shocking. Instead of professionally addressing a billing concern, she became dismissive and disrespectful. At one point, she made comments about team members not receiving compensation, even though I was simply requesting a correction to the bill. Gratuity should remain voluntary and handled transparently, especially when a guest raises a concern respectfully.
My husband is a physician, and we were visiting the property while evaluating locations for a potential conference related to his practice field. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression of the property’s customer service standards.
I have since submitted a formal complaint to the appropriate department and sincerely hope Hilton Bayfront San Diego takes steps to improve staff training, professionalism, and guest service moving forward.
