Sherwood Residence

We spent 4 nights at Sherwood Residence overcoming jet lag after landing very early in the morning in Ho Chi Minh. All the staff we met were helpful and kind and the apartment was immaculately clean. The swimming pool was lovely and also perfectly clean. There is a large grocery store just around the corner as well as lots of food places to choose from.

Definitely recommend for families.

Apon arrival we were warmly welcomed by staff who escorted us in and took care of all of our luggage. Special thanks to Vy, Ngan, and Long for their great hospitality. We were able to use multiple facilities, such as entertainment rooms, pool, spa, and a huge variety of foods at the breakfast buffet. The entrance of the residence is beautifully designed and decorated all throughout the hotel with grand designs. Amazing experience overall.

We like the quiet and one-way street. We love the cleanliness & fully-equipped bathroom facilities of the three-bedroom premiere suite. Level two set-up was modern and crisp while level eighteen offered a more airy feel in the room. We suggest that air fresheners are provided for toilets. Though we enjoyed the bath, climbing in/out was challenging (being wet). We prefer having two bathrooms with one shower and one bathtub. This would also be safer for seniors. Overall, we consider our stay good value for money.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful regarding luggage, currency exchange, breakfast and hotel amenities. Found out they had free shuttle to the market on the last day but they had luggage storage and we used the shuttle. We used the pool, gym and played billiards. A quiet location but many restaurants and coffee around and even a coop grocery nearby. They upgraded us to a 3bdr which was huge and very clean and had a washer dryer which we used everyday. Breakfast was amazing and changed items everyday during our 3day stay. We would definitely stay here the next time we visit!

Great place to stay. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment and it had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our international flight was cancelled and they were able to help and extend our room stay by a day and were very lovely about this.

My family stayed here for 7 nights, and overall, the experience was excellent. The location is fantastic, and the breakfast—especially the made-to-order coffee—was outstanding.

I would like to sincerely thank most of the staff. The doormen, housekeeping team, and restaurant staff were all incredibly kind and professional, which made our stay very comfortable.

However, there was one disappointing issue regarding the shuttle bus information and the attitude of a specific male front desk staff member wearing a suit. He clearly told me that no reservation was needed for the shuttle bus. Later, when the bus was full, he changed his explanation to “first come, first served”, without offering any apology for the incorrect information.

I was not seeking compensation. I simply expected a basic apology for the confusion caused. Unfortunately, his attitude was dismissive and arrogant, and he even spoke in Vietnamese with other staff members in front of me, which felt unprofessional and disrespectful.

Aside from this one individual, everything else was truly 10/10. I sincerely hope management addresses this issue and provides additional training on basic courtesy and guest communication.

7박 8일간 완벽했던 가족 여행, 딱 한 명의 직원 때문에 불쾌한 경험을 했기는 했지만..

가족들과 함께 이곳에서 7박을 했습니다. 머무는 동안 룸 컨디션은 훌륭했고, 위치는 정말 최고였고, 주변에 맛집, 대형 마트, 예쁜 카페들이 많아 낮과 밤을 즐기기에 부족함이 없습니다. 매일 아침 먹은 조식도 훌륭했고, 특히 직접 만들어 주시는 커피는 최고였습니다. (아이스커피, 라떼)

무엇보다 감동적이었던 건 직원들의 친절함입니다. 매일 웃으며 인사해 주는 도어맨, 꼼꼼하게 방을 정리해 주는 하우스키핑, 식당 직원분들까지 모두가 최선을 다해 우리 가족을 편안하게 해 주었습니다.

하지만 딱 한 가지, 프론트의 특정 직원(누구인지 이름도 알고 있지만 공개는 하지 않겠습니다.)의 태도와 잘못된 안내 때문에 마지막 기분을 망쳤습니다. 주변 관광지로 가는 셔틀버스를 예약하고 싶어 프론트에 문의했을 때, 그 직원은 "예약은 필요 없고 시간에 맞춰 타면 된다"고 안내했습니다. 하지만 막상 시간에 맞춰 가니 만석이라 탈 수 없었고, 다시 문의하자 "선착순이라 빨리 탔어야 했다"며 말을 바꿨습니다.

저는 어떠한 보상을 바란 것이 아닙니다. 그저 처음에 제대로 안내해주지 못한 점에 대해 "미안하다(Sorry)"는 사과 한마디를 듣고 싶었을 뿐입니다.

하지만 그는 사과는커녕 거만한 태도로 일관했고, 이후 다른 여직원들과 베트남어로 자기들끼리 이야기하는 모습은 정말 불쾌했습니다. 그 한 사람의 행동이 7일간의 완벽했던 기억을 모두 지울 수는 없지만, 호텔 측에서는 셔틀버스 안내에 대한 정확한 공지와 해당 직원의 서비스 마인드 교육이 반드시 필요해 보입니다. 그 점만 빼면 다시 방문하고 싶은 곳입니다.

This was one of our first and best stays while holidaying for two weeks in Vietnam. We don’t three nights in a 3 bedroom place. So much space. Highly recommend in district 3. Quiet and away from the busyness of Saigon, yet walking distance to all the key sights including the war remnants museum which was a highlight. We would definitely come back to this hotel.

The hospitality here is the best we've experienced. From every level of staff, security, doormen, bell hops, front reception, pool/gym, food services, housekeeping, even staff we came across in passing, all of them have been welcoming, friendly and acknowledge you upon notice. There is level of purposeful care and attention that could only come from a culture whose goal is to provide a pleasant experience for guests. We stayed here on 2 occasions, July 2018, and recently, January 2026. We've vacationed in Vietnam on 3 occasions and stayed at 9 different hotels. Sherwood Residence has been our best experience so far.

It was a very good experience staying at Sherwood Residence. Staffs were very friendly. Location was also good close to shops. Loved the buffet breakfast too. And rooms were lovely.

We entered to an extremely warm welcome from Loc and Tri, they were so friendly helping us with a very smooth check-in service. The doorman and staff were also very efficient to help us with our luggage and the atmosphere of the hotel is exceptional. The location is perfectly convenient with local coffee shops nearby and a quick drive to popular brands in Vietnam. Beautiful architecture and great service from everyone that made our experience in Ho Chi Minh one of a kind :)

Incredible Staff have made our stay very enjoyable. The Restaurant Staff easily accommodated our nut and seed allergy without issue. They were truly so kind and attentive - we enjoyed every meal. The chefs were amazing the food was delicious. Convenient location, large rooms to accommodate a family of 5 easily, very clean. Cannot fault anything. Would definitely return.

Arrived very early in the morning An Ngan was amazing in getting us sorted with a room ASAP which was great as we had been on a plane all night. Great facilities, restaurant and staff. Would recommend

Excellent, well presented hotel. In a great location in District 3. Easy walking distance to important buildings and sightseeing areas.

Great place for family of 5, we had 3 bedrooms and honestly it was big enough to live in. On top of the ample space it had additional luggage room and laundry room (with facilities).

It was close enough to walk to city centre sites. Has a pool - good breakfast - couldn’t ask for more given it was also reasonably priced

We stayed here for two weeks and really enjoyed it. The location is ideal, and the apartment was consistently very clean. A special mention for the staff: always kind, responsive, and genuinely helpful—every time we called for assistance (extra key card, safe problem, hot water, etc.), they handled it quickly. Great value for money. Highly recommended!

Sherwood has a great location, helpful staff and overall a good experience. The apartment itself has got good space with two small bedrooms and one big one. For a family of four , very comfortable.
Breakfast also very good - wide variety. Once taken you only need a light snack for lunch , if at all.
Areas of improvement
1. Only 4 little bottles of water were given for the whole day. They should put a more eco friendly sustainable model for water.
2. The shower could have been better.

Upon checking in, it was a surprise for us to be upgraded to a 3-bedroom apartment even though we had booked for a 2-bedder. The apartment was very big and clean making our stay extremely comfortable and relaxing. Housekeeping service was great and consistent each day. The staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with any request or question. Overall, our experience at Sherwood Residences was enjoyable and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for big groups of friends or families.
