Great experience. Very clean and spacious unit located on a high floor with a great view. The rooms were furnished perfectly, not too much stuff but everything you need. The towels always fresh and refreshed, bathrooms extra clean, soaps and shampoos included, black out curtains and very quiet. Air conditioners worked efficiently and quietly. Very spacious and a great sanctuary from the busy but centrally located hotel. Breakfast was a daily treat, coffee came quickly and perfectly. New and delicious dishes, healthy choices too. The gym was super good, I'm a calisthenics guy and I kept up with my training. The pool area looked good but didn't use. I would absolutely recommend Sherwood, great value all around

Wonderful stay. Clean, comfortable and spacious room (booked 2br, upgraded to 3br). Varied and delicious breakfast. Wonderful pool. On top of all that, the best feature were the kind and friendly staff.
Also greatly appreciated the offer to enjoy the facilities while awaiting our departing flight later on checkout day

We were upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment which was huge - more than enough room. We had a washine machine and dryer which was great. Food and drinks at the hotel a bit pricey but we mainly ate out. Decor a bit dated but everything was very clean and in good condition. Location worked well for us.

She welcomed us with exceptional warmth and professionalism, and her English is absolutely perfect, which made everything so easy and comfortable for us.

It’s rare to experience such genuine hospitality right from the start. Ms. Vy truly set the tone for what we are sure will be a wonderful stay. Her kindness and attention to detail made a lasting first impression.

Cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. They are super friendly and even upgraded our room. All the amenities you can ask for for a family! Great location. Highly recommend.

Staff at the Sherwood were attentive and very accommodating. My husband celebrated his birthday during our stay. The restaurant organised a small cake with a candle, birthday message on a board and played happy birthday.

We really appreciated the helpful and enthusiastic team, in particular Long, Tri and Vy. A super way to start our time in Vietnam. Great style and excellent value.

Sherwood Residence is an overall 5-star hotel in Ho chi Minh City, in our opinion. While its address is in District 3, it's basically a couple of blocks from District 1. You're within a 10 minute walk (or a $1-$2 Grab ride) to Notre Dame, the historic Post office, Independence Palace, and "downtown" Dist1 HCM. The breakfast buffet has good selection. When checked in, they upgraded us to a larger suite, with full kitchen, living room. The key difference between Sherwood and other 5-star hotels is they have washer/dryer unit in each of the room - a major convenience point for our travel needs. Staff provides above-and-beyond excellent services. We would definitely stay here again for our next trip.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment which had a super single bed, 2 single beds and 1 king bed. Lots of space, very clean, albeit spartan, but everything was perfectly functional. Good shower pressure and plenty of hot water regardless of time of day. Breakfast was sufficient. Gym was sufficiently well equipped. Can walk to most tourist spots in 15 minutes.

We stayed at Sherwood Residence for 5 nights and couldn’t be happier. Unlike a standard hotel room, having a kitchen and washer plus dryer made our trip to HCM so much easier. The rooms are clean and spacious. We spent several mornings and evenings in the games room - tennis and billiards area are well maintained and provided great way to unwind and some quality family bonding. The location in District 3 is quieter than District 1, which we preferred, still easy walk to War Remnants Museum, some great local cafes and supermarket (Co.op Mart).

My family loved it and we very much enjoyed our stay. Apartment is spacious, clean, well equipped. Location is great, very convenient. They even provide shuttle bus to major tourist spots which are just nearby. Service was friendly.

This is an amazing hotel. We've stayed here each time we visit VN because of their hospitality, cleanliness, prompt service, care, and great amenities. Our kids love it here. We love that our suite is so roomy and we have a washer and dryer inside of our huge suite. It is centrally located to everything. It is very affordable compared to U.S. prices. We will definitely stay here each time we return to VN

Had a fantastic stay at Sherwood Residence, a great choice for families with young kids. The staff were attentive, friendly, and very accommodating, which made our stay easy and enjoyable. The location is convenient, close to key spots while still feeling comfortable and quiet.

The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, offering excellent value for the price. The pool was clean and nice for the kids, though it’s mostly shaded throughout the day. Overall, we’d definitely recommend staying here.

We had a huge 3 bedroom apartment. My bed had a king single mattress which was sinking in the middle and very uncomfortable. The hotel replaced it for me. We appreciated the large washing machine and drier.

The Moment you walk in you felt special and welcomed, every staff we came in contact with over our visit were so lovely and kind. Every day felt like it was a new day helped with the free shuttle to key locations and pick up points too. would recommend this venue to anyone who want to feel like a Queen.

We stayed about 9-10 days at Sherwood Residence in a 2-berdroom and then a 3-bedroom executive apartment. The apartment itself is spacious with a good layout, comfortable beds, and large TVs—great for families or longer stays.

Unfortunately, several issues made the overall experience disappointing.

First, the customer service lacked flexibility. On our final night extension, I accidentally selected 1 adult instead of 2 adults with breakfast. For the previous 9 days the nightly rate was exactly the same whether 1 or 2 adults were selected, and I showed staff screenshots confirming this. Despite recognizing us as guests who had been staying over a week in a large executive unit, they refused to allow the second adult to join breakfast unless we paid $15, which felt unnecessary and not very guest-friendly.

Second, the internet connection was unstable, with frequent disconnections and buffering when streaming Netflix or YouTube, and work video calls were often intermittent. This was a big problem for me as a remote worker and I had to use my own hotspot for some video calls.

Third, the bathrooms have very high tubs and no walk-in showers. Stepping in and especially stepping down can be challenging and potentially unsafe for older adults or guests with mobility limitations.
Fourth, when checking out, we had to wait 18-20 minutes in the lobby as they inspected the unit. So make sure to give yourselves ample time if in a rush to the airport or somewhere.

Lastly, the incidental deposit policy is 1,000,000 VND per night (not per stay). This adds up quickly for longer stays and is not clearly disclosed unless you read the fine print carefully.

The apartments themselves are large and comfortable, but between the unstable internet, outdated bathroom design, and rigid service policies, we would likely choose a different place next time.

My girlfriends and I absolutely love this place. It’s honestly such a warm, comfy haven to come back to after a long day in Ho Chi Minh. Every part of the place—from the service areas to the bedrooms and even the balcony—is thoroughly clean, which we really appreciated. The beds are super comfy too, so it’s very easy to just crash and recharge after being out all day.

The staff are also incredibly helpful and friendly, which made the whole stay even nicer. Getting around is super convenient—it’s just a quick Grab ride to pretty much everywhere, and there are cafés, restaurants, and even Coop Mart just a couple minutes’ walk from the hotel. We just popped in there for our pasalubong hahahaha

Safe to say this will definitely be our go-to place the next time we visit. Already looking forward to coming back!
