Just Missed Swimming in the pool
Pros:

The location was good.Our tour of the surrounding area was interesting with a bonus hotel pick up. The Sleeping Giant mountain range Orchard gardens was the highlight.

Cons:

We were told the swimming pool was under renovation only to find hours before our pick up to the cruise ship a day later that the pool was fully operational full of swimmers

Overall we were very satisfied to stay here two nights before our cruise!
Pros:

We wanted close to the cruise port for easy access morning of the cruise and it definitely is. The pool area is maintained nicely and the dining on property was really very good!

Cons:

Our room was not cool enough when we got there and overall didn't get cool enough as we like for sleeping at night. The bed didn't have a top sheet so you had to sleep no covers at all or a thick duvet. A cooler room fixes this.

Amazing Hotel!
Pros:

We recently hosted our organisation’s conference at this hotel and had an excellent experience. The staff were incredibly professional, responsive, and accommodating throughout the entire process, from planning to the event itself. The conference rooms were perfect for our needs, and the team went above and beyond to make our cultural night and final dinner feel special. The waterfront location close to the city centre was a huge bonus, and the area itself was quiet and peaceful, creating a really relaxing atmosphere for our attendees. Highly recommend for conferences and events.

Great for the cruise ship terminal
Pros:

Stayed here one night before our cruise, staff were great, massage place was fab, breakfast was awful and no one told us what we could or couldn’t have like eggs cooked etc, not much choice. Seemed to be a lot of inexperienced staff too.Good sort and lovely sunset though.

Convenient, comfortable and great value.
Pros:

Comfortable bed. Great staff. Awesome value. Sam makes a great margarita and the beer on tap was nice and cold!

Cons:

A bit tired in old part of the resort. Room was a bit dated. New part looks nice. Breakfast was average.

It was nice to have buffer breakfast the roti was placed on the news paper in the food warmer. Which it shouldn't be because of the inks in the news paper . And the bathroom need general cleaning moulds in the bathroom tides.

Exceptional customer service
Pros:

I stayed at Tanoa Waterfront Lautoka from 27 March to 5 April 2026.
While the rooms themselves were comfortable and well-presented, I was disappointed that the in-room TVs, despite being smart TVs, did not have the capability to connect to my phone.
Housekeeping did a great job maintaining the room overall; however, the bathroom was not cleaned to an acceptable standard throughout my 9-night stay. The sink often remained dirty, and there was noticeable mould in the shower. At times, I felt less clean after using the bathroom than before. I want to emphasise that this did not seem to be the fault of the housekeeping staff, but rather a lack of proper equipment or sufficient time allocated by management for a thorough clean.
Lastly, I would like to recognise four staff members who truly stood out: Adi, Mourine, Pitalina, and Ana. They were consistently warm, hospitable, and approachable, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Their level of service was exceptional, and they are a real asset to the hotel. I hope to see them again on my next visit, as they genuinely deserve recognition for their outstanding work.

Looked after exceptionally well..arrived in middle of cyclone and needed meds ...no taxis available ..Staff member Shahim took me to chemist, waited and brought me back to hotel...no charge...although I offered to pay. Great customer service
