Tanoa Waterfront Hotel

We had come to celebrate our dad's birthday. The night was filled with joy as the staffs had gathered to sing and celebrate our dad's birthday. Thank you all for the warm hospitality and great food . God bless.

I stayed in two rooms as the first room I had advised had bed bugs, I packed my belongings and moved to another room despite being told by staff that house keeping had a look and don’t know what I was talking about, even though I had extremely visible bites on my body, when moved to a new room bed bug company protocol was also not followed. After sleeping in my new room for one night, I had more bites then actually found a bed bug, so called reception and requested a manager to come to my room immediately, I had two seperate staff come, not one of them being a manager, I then packed my belongings again after giving the staff a located bed bugs found in a tissue and went to reception where I met with the branch manager. I was advised that the staff dis not follow protocol of getting my belongings fumigated and clothes washed prior to moving rooms, the reason being, the did not believe they had bed bugs. At this point I was furious. The manager advised bed bugs is an extremely rare occurrence- however looking at reviews now, I’m definitely not the only one.

Quando reservei este hotel referi que iria festejar em determinada data o aniversário de casamento, não tive qualquer atenção no quarto, foi-me dado um quarto com 2 camas, uma com menos de 1,40 cm e outra com 80/90 cm, não apreciei a falta de atenção por parte do staff.
O hotel está bem situado, próximo da cidade, tem 2 piscinas. Quarto de bom tamanho com ameneties. O Wi-Fi é bom. O pequeno almoço é um pouco repetitivo e não tem iogurte. Oferece leite, café, chá no quarto. A água está em local público para uso.

We have hosted a number of events at Waterfront and have had no problems whether its the food, facilities etc Priya Shahim and Mere have ensured that we've received their best even coming through for us on last minute changes. Vinadu valevu Team Waterfront!

We have stayed at tanoa waterfront on many occasions over the past 15 years. The hotel has a good local vibe with majority of the guest being returning Fiji residents. The rooms are very clean and large, I would recommend the executive rooms as they are larger and seem to be newer compared to the other types of rooms. The pool is a good size for the hotel and it did get very busy at the pool in peak season. Breakfast was good with a selection of local and Indian food.
The only negative comment I will make about the hotel was that there were a lot of guest that were not actually staying at the hotel however they were allowed to use the pool area. This made the pool very busy and not comfortable for the guest staying at the hotel. There is no pool bar either.
I would however recommend this hotel as my first choice staying in Lautoka.

I took my mum for her birthday celebration dinner at Finns Restaurant, and I cannot express enough how impressed we were with the entire experience. From singing the birthday song to the final goodbye, everything was handled with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care.
The staff were absolutely outstanding — friendly, attentive, and always one step ahead of what we needed. They made us feel so welcome and treated my mum like a queen on her special day.
The food was delicious and well presented.
A huge vinaka vakalevu to the team at Finns Restaurant for making this celebration unforgettable. We will definitely be back and highly recommend your venue to anyone looking to host a special event! 🌺🎉
