Nice and quiet
Great shower.
Value for money. Stained carpet. Blotchy paint. Room cleaning not done timely. Poor lighting near bed. WiFi was glitchy.
We look forward to the Mineral water soak & stay as we pass through to Arizona. The grounds around the pool & spas are pristine. Rooms are clean & comfortable. The connected restaurant has a cool vintage decor vibe & delicious menu. The staff is accommodating & kind.
Great relaxing getaway. Love the spa and the recently added bar

Great place
It is possible to have a good experience at this establishment—IF you get a heavily discounted rate AND temper your expectations. The place has some very good potential. It appears that the owners/managers have made decisions on services, maintenance, upkeep, etc, that mean this hotel is seeing its final years of acceptable serviceability. The staff that we dealt with were clearly doing their very best under difficult circumstances and guidance. Please see the photos that show some of the issues we dealt with. The pool and the two hot tubs were enjoyable, especially after long days of hiking. I emailed the hotel mgt before our travel, but they did not respond. We arrived at 2pm (after beginning our journey at 2am, California time.) We were told that our room was ready for us and that, for a substantial fee, we could check in before 4pm. Of course, we had no control over when the airline got us to California, or when we might arrive at the location after securing our rental car. Because we had paid extra for an upgraded room with a balcony and mountain view, I asked if we might at least drop off our bags. (This was part of my email request the previous week, in addition to letting them know we were visiting for my wife’s birthday.) We were told by the desk clerk that the owner/ managers will not allow them any leniency on that. We drove around for 2 hours and came back at 4pm. Our room had a balcony with a view of a very busy 4-lane highway and mountains in the distance. The sliding door to the balcony could not be opened without several minutes of extra effort and rocking back and forth. There were two chairs next to a very noisy AC unit, the balcony was cracked and badly stained, and the view was partially blocked by some type of solar units and a hot roof that came directly to our balcony. We did not use the balcony at all during our stay, meaning we wasted money on the room upgrade. I went to the front desk to ask where the ice machine was (they give no info at all about the place when you check in, except a room key and your room number.) I was told that the only way to get ice was to go to the adjoining restaurant and pay $1 for the small container to be filled. Back in the room we began to notice many elements of disrepair. One of the electric sockets was falling out of the wall. There were scratches and stains on the walls and furniture. The shower curtain was cut and ripped all along the curtain. There were stains on the bed skirt that were clearly from “bodily fluids.” We noticed our feet getting very dirty when we walked across the old carpet (see the photo of the stained bathroom floor mat.) We quickly learned to keep sandals on when we were in the room. The shower did not drain properly and quickly filled the shower basin, even when taking an abbreviated shower. Once the water drained, a very strong sewer gas odor filled the entire bathroom and bedroom, so we learned to close the bathroom door immediately after showering (and to brush our teeth BEFORE showering!) We were there for 4 days and our room was never serviced while we were there. Again, the two hot tubs and the pool area were enjoyable. But if you visit, just lower your expectations on everything else.
Hated it
Nothing like pics
The pool and hot tubs, the very helpful and friendly staff, and it was clean and well cared-for. Nice to have breakfast in the restaurant, as well. Very spacious room, and well-appointed.
The pool area was nice to look at and the shower was big
The first room we had a broken door and we couldn't leave the room without one of us staying in there. Then our second room didn't have wlhot water
Clean rooms
It was not relaxing, very loud guests. The website said there would be robes and there were not and staff was very rude about it.
