I will booking this hotel again in the near future.
Pros:

The front desk when i checked in was so personable. The kitchen staff was so accommodating even with the rush of breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel. I do recommend a room on a higher level you will get a beautiful view plus less noise from traffic.

Mixed review, some good, some bad!
Pros:

I have very mixed feelings about this hotel. Great location, very walkable. The hotel staff were friendly, and we got to checkin a little early. We paid a premium for a high floor, river view which we got. The room was large, nicely appointed, plenty of towels, and nice linens. The breakfast was typical when included with the room charge. The lady in charge of the breakfast tried her best, but there were so many people it was a little overwhelming. They even opened the bar area for additional seating…liked the high tops. We booked through a 3rd party so our parking fee was included which was a plus…never had that happen before. There is a parking garage next door for a lower fee. But, there were serious negatives. Upon returning from dinner on first night, we heard a noise that we thought was coming from the televised ballgame. However, we found out it wasn’t, and we felt a vibration as well. To make a long story short, room 802 is directly below the rooftop pool and hot tub, which causes noise. We finally moved to another room on the 8th floor at 11 pm!!! They are aware of this problem, but still book guests into rooms 801 and 802. The 2nd major issue are the bathrooms. They have updated the vanities, but the showers are in very poor condition with old cracked tiles, and horrible shower doors. Bottom line is there are good points to this hotel, but would look for another hotel in the same area.

You get what you pay for
Pros:

Checked in for an overnight stay. Double-queen room did not have a functioning toilet, so we had to switch to the only available room, which was a single king bed for a family of 4. We utilized a roll-away bed that was horrific and uncomfortable (not shocking). Front desk staff tried their best to accommodate us, it just ended up being a poor stay for our family due to the conditions of the hotel. After driving for 5 hours, the last thing we wanted to deal with was issues inside our hotel room.

Positives are that you are across the street from the river-front walk and the roof-top pool is pretty neat. Next time I will pay the extra money and stay at nicer hotel.

Customer service at its best, clean, well kept and location
Pros:

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Darnell, one of the bellmen, went above and beyond to make my stay great! He got my bags in and out and even cleaned up a broken bottle that hit the ground with zero complaint. Darnell’s workmanship and attitude is a model for customer service. The rooftop pool was a welcomed luxury in the high heat. The view and sunsets over the river were beautiful. Breakfast was good and the female employee overseeing it was a delight and hard worker. I highly recommend this hotel while staying in Savannah.

Good Experience
Pros:

Stayed 2 nights & overall had a good experience. The hotel did not have breakfast available which I thought was a little strange but I wasn’t too disappointed. The bed was comfortable. The location is great because you can walk to the river/pier area. There’s a lot of restaurants, pub bars, cafes & souvenir shops to choose from. If you plan to stay in the historic district then you do not necessarily need a car. Also parking is pretty expensive at this hotel. At night, if your room faces the street, the noise from the street can be a disturbance if you are a light sleeper

The hotel was in a good location. But there are better hotels nearby.
Pros:

Clean and spacious room. There was no coffee maker in the room. However, I asked for one and they provided one. There was no towel rack in the bath and only one hook.

Cons:

No one was available to help me with my luggage as check in. The room was very noisy. The old hotel sign outside my window (the one you see in the picture above) swung in the wind creating a very loud and aggravating noise. I asked to be moved and they accommodated my request. However, they said they had no services to help me move my luggage to the new room. There was no breakfast, no snack bar and no tavern/bar.

Perfect quick stay
Pros:

We booked two rooms for one night in Savannah to celebrate a birthday and a going away celebration (we live close). The hotel was very clean and our room was perfect. Very quiet for sleeping. The highlight of the hotel for us was Wanda. She was at the front desk and was so personable. Very friendly and smiling the whole time. We got to see her when we checked in as well as when we checked out and had many laughs! It is nice to have a great first impression at the desk when you arrive!
