Great place to take a break after holidays

Works for a quick overnight stay
Pros:

Clean and sufficient for a quick overnight stay before an early morning flight. Room was quiet, but a bit outdated. Not enough bathroom counter space to even put your toiletry bag. Beds comfy. Staff were friendly upon check in but never acknowledged us when we rentered after we left for dinner, which was a little awkward. Check out was quick and easy. Dinner was not available at the restaurant even tho it was advertised and said it was open on the signage in the elevator. Free snacks and water were great and appreciated.

Stay/Fly program.
Pros:

Stay-and-fly works so well for us. We have used this program at other RDU locations and this one has been the most convenient/professional/hospital of any of them. As long as IHG continues this program, we will be there. BTW, we are staying again at this same place when we get back from Canada in Mid-January. Thanks.

For a short notice stay amazing experience
Pros:

I was given a last second assignment in the metro Raleigh area. I had to reschedule flights and arrived at RDU after 22:30 hours. I arrived at the hotel and the staff was friendly cookies and coffee was waiting for me (nice touch)! My room was clean and bed was extremely comfortable. I am going to be traveling back to the Raleigh area after the New Year and I will definitely be staying here!!! Thank you Holiday Inn RDU!!!

Convenient to all of Raleigh area, ample parking, courteous staff, clean rooms with ample towels, etc. Diamond members that goes to an IHG hotel every week so have some experience with hotels
