Fabulous location just a short drive from the airport. The atmosphere throughout the property was both grand and pleasantly inviting. The rooms were impressively large—clean, spacious, and exceptionally comfortable. The value was outstanding and well worth the cost. During our event, the noise level remained perfectly acceptable. Service was excellent; there was always a staff member available and ready to assist with anything we needed. Overall, it was an exceptional stay.
The worse service from the satff that I have ever eperienced.
I will not be returning and will not have other Intercontinental hotels as myy first choice.

Our stay started off with a lovely lady at the check in getting us in early to our room. That allowed us to go explore which was great. The building itself its beautifully maintained and the staff were all extremely nice and helpful. If you've been to a hotel with bad staff, you know that when people go above and beyond it just puts the cherry on top. We stayed on the 19th floor which granted us wonderful views and the room itself was clean and well cared for. Very quiet as well. We decided to indulge in the 21st floor lounge and that was amazing. I was also able to book a massage that was 10 out of 10. All in all, the value I got from the hotel far exceeded what I paid. I appreciate everyone who made our weekend as memorable as it was.
Brandon in security was extremely helpful and kind. I left my hearing aids in my room and he found them and fed exed them to me next day.
Everyone at the hotel was so gracious.
The hotel scenery is nice but don’t be suprised . I was in the bathroom and a roach crawled up the wall ! Yes a roach ! And I was so terrified I ended up checking out early . I have a phobia of roaches ! If you go , don’t ask for room 1611 ! See pictures below !
Beautiful hotel. We were able to check in early with ease. Our room was located on the top floor with incredible views of the city. We also had access to the Lounge which featured a social hour containing light bites and beverages from 5-7pm. However, our absolute favorite feature about the hotel was the complimentary house car, a luxury black SUV which takes you within 2 miles of the hotel. It’s first come first serve, I wish they had more vehicles available!
Clean room , comfortable bed, friendly staff and the overall ambience of the hotel in the concourse and lobby area is business friendly and quiet as well.
I was in Atlanta for a team meeting and stayed at this hotel. The facilities, the food, the hospitality and the kindness of the staff were outstanding qualities which made my experience and stay overall a memorable one.
Had an excellent stay at the InterContinental Buckhead! The hotel is beautiful and the food is equally delicious. Above all, the service was fantastic! I had an issue w/ my reservation (my fault) which the lady at the front desk (Josefine) took ownership of and resolved it for me in minutes. My family and I had a great time and plan to stay there again in the future.
Location is very suitable for me.
Atmosphere is very good.
Rooms are adequate.
Breakfast is right. The super intended Adam is professional, friendly.
Top shelf service. I had some pretty specific requests and Jazmine at the Front Desk jumped on them immediately! I was so impressed to the staff’s dedication to exceptional customer experience. My stay will never be forgotten as a result.
An absolutely luxurious stay! The service and customer support were excellent, and I enjoyed every facility the hotel had to offer. I would definitely recommend it to a friend — completely worth every penny.
Just got back from a truly special stay for the weekend. Typically, I have stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Downtown, but their Club Loung access was $777 this weekend, and the IC Buckhead was $351.
That's where I begin. The IC has better rooms. Pretty much, the best. They're spacious, they have beautiful soaking tubs and separate rain showers, and they're luxurious feeling. Beds are sumptuous, curtains are blackout, sofa by the 21st floor window is pleasant for entertaining a guest. The Club Lounge historically was hit-or miss. It annoys me greatly that they are stingy with the alcohol--the Ritz gives you all-day access, but the IC sticks to only their evening hours. Dang it, I want mimosas with breakfast. More on that later. The thing is, they have waaaaaaay upped their game on the evening offerings. Eric, the lead upstairs, is a star. He goes above and beyond to make sure that eveyone is happy all evening long. Breakfast is good, not special, but good. 2 meats, egg dish, potatoes, cold cuts and lox, pastries and bagels. Nice espresso machine. The morning staff does try, but they are constrained by a few unreasonable rules and can be a little rude about it. I did ask for that mimosa this morning, and was told that they absolutely do not serve alcohol outside of the evening hours. Mind you, management downstairs (thank you, Phil!) made it right and I got that daggone mimosa (yes, I know--it's totally first-world problems) in the bar before leaving for the airport. The bartender, by the way, was also an above-and-beyond human.
The hotel restaurant, The Americano by Scott Conant, is fantastic. I had a special request to go off menu due to a meal I had here before being diagnosed with cancer a couple of years ago, did a little research to figure out their email convention, and messaged the outlets manager. They fulfilled my request in spectacular fashion. Service is top notch, management is responsive, and the overall ambience is absolutely first-rate. If you want a truly outstanding server, ask for Jasmine.
All in all, if you want a no-fuss luxury stay in Atlanta that includes a pretty dang decent Club Lounge, I recommend the Intercontinental wholeheartedly. The service level for this price point actually cannot be beat.
The Intercontinental in Buckhead was a great experience. Truly five star. Service from the valet stand to the restaurant were best in class.
The Americano restaurant was also standout. Perfect omelettes and the freshest fruits on the side.
The room decor, size, and functionality exceeded my expectations.
Absolutely beautiful hotel with welcoming Valet attendants and smiles all around. Clean, quiet room; wonderful soaking tub (very much needed after long days at our business event). I will highly recommend this hotel to all of our company travelers when they fly to Atlanta.
I was disappointed that a spare blanket wasn't already in the room. I didn't like the toilet paper holder. It looked like it came from a thrift store. Arrival parking was confusing. The clips for the emergency treadmill stop was broken on all of the treadmills. Is nobody in charge of checking the fitness equipment. The benefits of the amenity charge were not very useful.
Excellent view, excellent lighting & excellent bed. Tablet, bathtub and room service weren't working properly, but the concierge comped our food.
I booked the intercontinental hotel Atlanta for a short stay in early February. I was visiting Atlanta to see my mom, but she died while I was airborne. I attempted to cancel my reservation but the hotel was having none of it.
I was told no refund was possible despite the sad news that I faced. I think the hotel is unbelievably cruel, shocking and they should be ashamed. I have stayed at the hotel on previous visits but never again.
The front desk staff appears to be incompetent or just down right uncaring. We traveled on a red eye overnight from California, and arrived to find out they were booked solid. They assured me they would get someone to work on our room meanwhile over the course of the last 4 hours we have watched countless people check out and nothing! They just left my daughters and I on the couches of their lobby making no effort to get us checked in. If there was a fee I would have happily paid it but they didn’t even give any care to offer that
great property, location and service
