Good location. Lovely hotel but real lack of service
Pros:

Breakfast was appalling. It improved a little after I complained. Also note no one answers calls when calling guest services or reception from the room.

Satisfactory only at this point. It's been better before.
Pros:

The Valet Service was the best service of all. They're were so patient with us especially with my wife getting in and out of our vehicle.

Cons:

The Upcharge for the Club Intercontinental access is ridiculously high in pricing. Standing in line for a long period of time for check in needs improvement. The curtains in our room had holes in them due to wear and tear but never an excuse because they should have been replaced.

My day was good. It was just a smell.
Pros:

Yes, on some photos there was a smell like back up sewage so the smell was awful. This was my second time visiting there. The first time was wonderful. This time was wonderful. It was just the smell employees was wonderful. Oh my God I love the new year party through for the people it was wonderful. It was only the smell that’s all but other than that I will be returning.

Everything except the smell of the backup switch

I would like to give a special Thanks to the Hotel Manager Manuel Deisen and
Christina Shin Reservations Manager InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta 3315 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30326. I have stayed in alot of 5 star Hotels throughout the World, however this Hotel and its staff is awarded 10 stars out of 5. They exceeded expectations as a World class Luxury Hotel.

From the moment my family and I walked into the door we were greeted with such class and respect.. PRESTON was at the front desk to greet us and we couldn't feel more welcome and honored to be there.
Being a diamond elite member did give a few extra perks. But with this property, it wouldn't matter who walked in would get the same treatment and respect.
Got our room and it has such a magnificent view and the beds were very Comfortable and the bathroom was very exquisite.
The outdoor pool and hot tub was very quiet and peaceful and relaxing... Water temperature was perfect in both, and Change rooms top notch and clean.
Then we went to the lounge and was greeted by ERIC...
This gentleman even made my kids feel like they were the most important people in the room.. He Set up such a beautiful display with so many delicious options.. Also catered with care to my wife's allergies without us feeling like a burden. And he makes perfect delicious drinks.
Then for breakfast at the lounge there was PRESTON again just giving the same level of exceptional service.. Had my coffee ready. Organized room service when we were out of the room. And then the warm smiles and plesent interactions with KIRSTEN to make sure everything was just perfect.
There is a reason why this property is rated one of the best in the world. And you have to experience it to fully understand the level of elegance, class, attention and respect given from the moment you walk in the door, until you check out..
