The location was ideal for us, very close to public transport, the theatre district and nice small parks. The front desk staff were pleasant.
The room (008) was very uncomfortable. There were stains in the carpet that reached from the window to the front door and the window faced a service area that included staff slamming a door just outside of the window from 06:30 a.m. every day. The temperature in the room was 27.5 and when we asked if this could be adjusted the answer was "it is cooler than the outside temperature and it cannot be adjusted". I highly recommend to avoid this room, if given an option. Perhaps there are other nice renovated rooms that I am not aware of.

Good size rooms, good location
Tea and coffee making facilities were in a cupboard, wired in, not great. Water pressure in shower was very low, very hard pillows on what otherwise was an extremely comfortable bed
The location is excellent and the staff were very helpful. The bed was comfortable.
The room was small and not particularly clean. The carpet was stained and there was hair in the bath. The electrics in the room were suspect … the lights came on suddenly during the night, the TV would switch off randomly and our phones didn’t charge overnight despite being plugged in.
Nice location. Good coffee and tea facilities. Two double beds in the same room which is why I picked this hotel.
Too hot. Air con was terrible. Beds hard. Was put in basement room with a loud generator or something above. Staff was unhelpful when checking in- first sent us to Portland hotel when we didn’t book there. Then we had to walk back again when they changed their mind. Was with my elderly grandma.

Kamer smal, bed slecht. Vloerbedekking smerig. Wanden smerig. Lift stuk 1ste 2 dagen. Kamer pasjes werkten niet. Moest met sleutel. 1 dame achter receptie onbeschoft. Rest was vriendelijk. Waterkoker kapot tijdens verblijf. Schimmel badkamer. Alles oud. Schoonmaakster deed haar best maar geen eer te behalen.

Air conditioning was very weak and we ended up sleeping with open window and fan. During lunch break it was too hot in the room.

The room for a family of 4 was large and easy to access. The staff were friendly and helpful and were happy to store our luggage following an early arrival and before a late departure. Location is superb walkable from the Euston/KingsX area and in a quiet part of Bloomsbury.
A bit tired in places, but that is kind of factored into the price.
There is an exceptional garden to the rear of the property however it seems like there is no access from this hotel.
