Incredible!
Pros:

Everyone at the hotel was professional and cordial.

Cons:

The company was cutting their hours therefore they were short staffed and could not work OT.

Uninvited guests in the bathroom
Pros:

Very unfortunate to have chosen this property for my recent stay, which I did based on its convenient location. The room wasn’t very clean, I step into a cockroach when I went to the restroom in the middle of the night, the appliances seem to be poorly maintained, my TV remote was falling apart and not working properly, the bed sheets had a strange odor and I would not recommend this property at all.

I made a reservation but upon arriving they claimed they couldn’t find me in the system even tho I had paid and had confirmation number already I had to wait OVER A HOUR after person in front desk had to call his manager (Daniela) on the phone because he didn’t know what he was doing. I finally got a room but was very unsatisfied with the situation. Front desk person said there was nth they could do and was being highly rude. I only stayed there bc it was past 10 PM and had been traveling all day I just wanted to sleep. Hotel kept blaming booking and claimed they couldn’t help me in getting a room or refund

Nice place to stay if you're in Brownsville.
Pros:

The hotel was centrally located right off the interstate near a large mall with many convenient didning options nearby. The room was clean and stocked with basic cutlery cups and plates price was reasonable for 3 nights. Staff was friendly and was surprised at invite to weekly "social" they have Monday through Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM. They put out a few hot food items as well as beer and wine for guests, it was nice the one evening I caught it.

Good employee experience & would use the property again.
Pros:

Lobby is far more impressive than the bathrooms which need major upgrading. Pleasant staff & good housekeeping overall. The A/C unit is our unit sounded like a Diesel Truck engine starting up each time it came on & should be addressed. The breakfast provided at this hotel was significantly better than the vast majority of other breakfast-included IHG properties which are very inconsistent. Overall property maintenance seemed to be well above standard for similar IHG properties. Had a small request about a room change & as a Platinum Elite IHG Rewards Member, staff member Daniella Sanchez could not have been more pleasant & accommodating. Good employees like Daniella are worth their weight in gold to IHG Rewards Members.
Hotel is located in the major shopping center area a few miles from Downtown, which is the most popular area since it is surrounded by the largest selection of restaurants, stores, shopping, bars, etc. in Brownsville.

Pros:

The only thing I have to complain about, is that the pipes are noisy and the AC unit is very noisy and located in the bedroom. I loved the bed; it was so comfortable. The room was clean, the kitchenette fully furnished with everything you could possibly need and a nice sized refrigerator. The complimentary breakfast had a nice selection of fresh fruit, cereals, and even a small salad bar, in addition to the usual eggs and protein.
I plan to stay here again on my next visit.

Pros:

Staff at check-in was unfriendly. Wouldn't give me my room, even though it was rented with my account, and I had the receipt for it! My wife's name was on the card used to reserve the room, so until her plane landed and she called front desk, my son and I were stuck waiting in parking lot. It shouldn't have been that difficult to get us checked in.
