Staybridge Suites Akron-Stow-Cuyahoga Falls by IHG

The room was by far beyond what we expected!! It was the best yet and we have been to a lot of hotels. Great hotel chain. The staff at the front desk was on point and accommodating to all our needs. I’m a mom of 3 and we came for a last minute spring break swim and stay. Perfect.

Location

I gave this hotel a 2 because the hotel staff was fantastic. They really went above and beyond their job duties. When we walked in the hotel, the lobby looked run down. Once in our room, the rug was disgustingly dirty. The room was not clean as everything was covered in dust. The beds were so hard, like sleeping on cement block. The coffee pot that they leave in the room, for your convenience, did not work. I travel for work and stay at a lot of Comfort Ins, I’ve never had such a bad experience like this.

The property was clean, well maintained, with everything needed. Loved breakfast, it was really great variety, appreciated the opportunity to do your own laundry for free. A room felt like an apartment - very spacious. The full kitchen gave an opportunity to cook meals which was super convenient for my extended stay.

We had plenty of space in our room. Everything was clean and everything we needed was there. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Clean and great location.

Room was clean equipped with a full size refrigerator, 2 burner stove, microwave and more. These beauties were very clean.

First I thought the tub in the bathroom had a stain. After looking at it closely, it was an attempt to repair. My next reflex was to look up. Yes, there were some water marks on the ceiling. For a nice home away from home, changing out a tub is less than a day work. Maybe they are working on it.

The breakfast was ok. Hot, but basic. There were no gluten free bread option.

There is a Panini, coffee shop, Mexican food walking distance. Texas Roadhouse a small drive away.


Staff were friendly.

staff was very responsive and accommodating. butttttt the bed had hair trimmings in it, the TV and phone didn't work, and there were wasps in my room when I came back for the day and the windows had not been open. never had anything like that happen. but otherwise decent place I guess. good breakfast spread and gym.

We stay at this hotel often. It is safe clean and family friendly. Love everything about this hotel! Have no complaints at all!

Easy access and with plenty of parking. Clean room.

A great hotel experience. I'm originally from Cuyahoga Falls but drove up from Columbus Oh. for an event this last weekend. Because the hotel was full, they kept me apprised of when they have a room.

When I checked in, the staff were kind and efficient and my room was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. When I was getting ready to go to bed, I found that I had forgotten my toothpaste. I went down to the front desk and the 3rd shift clerk, Jude, gave me 2 free packs of toothpaste and even offered me a free toothbrush!

Finally, the free breakfast buffet on Sunday was very tasty and the dining room was clean and comfortable.

Ants got into my pill case which was on the nightstand. Crawling all over the nightstand and even got inside the pill container. Rooms were in need of major repairs. Stains on lamps and furniture. Black mold on ceilings, around shower fixtures.toilet paper holder has crud behind it. Grout was all stained. Pink all over white doors. The list goes on and on. Disgustingly dirty.

I don’t like that you pay upfront and then when you get to the property, they want you to put down the deposit you don’t mess up anything and you never get your deposit back

The cleanliness and customer service of the hotel were excellent.
