Good area to stay.
The stay was okay, and the price was reasonable. However, the room definitely had some issues that should have been addressed before allowing guests to stay in it. Cleanliness and proper maintenance are important, regardless of the price you pay. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves—they explain it all. 📸
The breakfast was HORRIBLE. You could tell the hotel staff did not give a hoot about the quality. The eggs were not done all the way, very watery. The hashbrowns were soggy, the pulled chicken looked like maybe it came from the day before. The bagels were hard as rock. The apple juice tasted super watered down. The fresh fruit was slimy. The breakfast was honestly VERY disappointing.
I usually bring my own toiletries, but I forgot and had to use the what the hotel offered. I appreciate the soap was all the things free and was a clean soap, but it left he residue behind like the soap wouldn't wash off your skin.
The bed was so comfortable, which I definitely appreciate.
I asked to be on the highest floor with a quite room. They put me on the 2nd floor facing the parking lot and there was a semi playing loud music at like 10pm. And could hear it quite clear through the windows.
Definitely improve the breakfast.

Everything about this stay was great. The location was centered around great food and easy access to other parts of town. The room and cleanliness was great as well. I would like to personally thank the front desk staff by name, Ida and Maxema were both OUTSTANDING. Thank you both for all that you did to help our group have a great stay.

The bedroom was a bit small, but the living room area/kitchen were spacious.
I like this hotel very clean and spacious for my 5 grandbabies.. they loved the pool.
I didn't like the kitchen...other Extended stay have a full kitchen meaning all kitchen utensils are available. Here at Homewood didn't have enough utensils and pots or cooking tools.
I arrived at this hotel early. It took forever for me to get into my room. It seemed as if there was a staffing issue. At 3:02 pm rooms were not ready and there were multiple other couples waiting to check-in that arrived after me. Even after asking the front desk if there was a staffing shortage I was told “Ma’am we only start check-in at 3pm.” However it’s more likely going to be after 4 pm. Poor service

Tight space going to the bathroom
As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I expect excellent quality whenever I travel. I’ve stayed at this hotel at least three times and I find it to be average..
My reason is this the first time I stayed there I had it took three room changes to get it right there were areas that weren’t the cleanest. My second time was OK stay and my third time was just average so there’s really not a whole lot to say if I had to summon it up in one word, I would say inconsistent. I wish all the time that I stayed here the experience would have been the same, but it’s high and low high and low overall great value for the price centrally, located to a bunch of shops, but hot and cold at times, and I say hot and cold in terms of inconsistency.
