We had a terrific time staying in the Breezes Suite in the Ocean House at Elizabeth Pointe. The suite size, amenities and easy beach access were first class. The entire staff was friendly and professional and truly made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We’ll go back again!
Wonderful place with gracious hosts. We'll stay here again!!
What an amazing team!! Thanks to everyone for making our stay special. Hidden Gem.
Ready to go back
Didn't live up to the hype. Looked forward to upscale vacation. Rented Miller Cottage at over 4500 dollars for four nights. Didn't mind paying for what I expected to get. Miller Cottage is a dated beach cottage. Biggest issue is there is a building in front of the cottage between you and the beach. You can see the ocean from the corner of the porch which could benefit from a hundred dollar ceiling fan. One of the TVs didn't work. AC struggled for entire stay. Not horrible but this is definitely not a 1000 dollar a night rental. Nightly reception was a small plate of cheese and stale crackers that looked like a lunchable with a couple of bottles of wine. Daily snacks laid out for the day was some chocolate cookies, a few tangelos and 3 tired old apples I saw all week. Breakfast was excellent and service was good. Beach service was good (kudos to the nice young man who set up the umbrellas and brought out cold water). Front desk folks were nice. It would be so easy for this place to step up and deliver on the advertised experience. I don't mind paying for upscale experience but this cottage was possibly worth half of what I paid. Looks like the place is trying to do upscale on a tight budget. Won't be back. I suspect Ritz Carlton down the road is cheaper than what I paid.
My husband and I spent the weekend here and enjoyed every minute. The service was wonderful! We loved the delicious breakfast each morning and happy hour in the afternoons. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I look forward to visiting again in the future.
Our stay was absolutely outstanding. The accommodations were perfect in every way, and the staff went above and beyond—truly 6-star service. The views and the beach were excellent. We simply can’t say enough good things about this lodge. Breakfast was on point, and the afternoon happy hour was a real treat.
We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning soon.
Beautiful small hotel with perfect views and a beautiful beach. It was exactly what we wanted. The staff were very helpful and delightful to interact with. Breakfast was excellent. Also the location was no more than 10 minutes from the downtown. We are already planning our next visit.
As always, lovely peace and quite right on the beach. Extra bonus on Independence day for evening fireworks shown everywhere without all the hustle and bustle.
It was our first visit and I don't think we will stay anywhere else. The inn is perfectly located between amazing sunrises and a 5 minute downtown drive. The staff is friendly and attentive. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. The afternoon reception was perfect for meeting other guests or just soaking up the ocean breeze. We loved it.
I didn’t want to leave! The accommodations were super comfortable and the views were beyond compare! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. I can’t wait to come back!
The beach is right behind the house.
Everyone was kind.
The room was very clean.

My family and I have been going to Elizabeth Pointe for over 12 years and it is by far our favorite place to visit. The close proximity to the beach, quaint town with lots of restaurants and shops, delicious daily made to order breakfast and happy hour, and wonderful staff who go out of their way to make your visit extra special. We keep coming back year after year and can’t wait until next year!
My wife and I have been going to EPL for almost 20 years. It is now under new managment and some of the changes are wonderful - the updated bathrooms is a huge plus! The staff were kind and friendly as always. The food was wonderful. You cannot beat the location or community.
I would say that there are a few things which we do miss.
The scones are gone, and honestly that was a huge disappointment. I would REALLY encourage you to bring those back.
Second, the elevator is scary sounding especially on the bottom floor. It needs some love - there is something up with the door mechanism.
Third, the wifi on floor four was not really working at all. It would just not connect.
We will be back - but these are things that I would pass along to the innkeeper for consideration. Thanks for almost 20 years of memories. See you again soon!
This was our home base for a long weekend in Amelia Island and we loved it. The staff was very kind and attentive. We enjoyed the complementary breakfast and afternoon happy hour enjoying our wine on the porch overlooking the ocean. We used taxis to take us to the town of Fernandina Beach and they were very convenient. We walked a few times, as well. We booked an oceanfront room and it was basic, nice and well-appointed. They offer beach chairs, towels, etc but Mother Nature was not cooperating for us that weekend. We were on the fourth floor by the elevator and found our room to be quiet from hallway noise but that probably depends on the other guests on the floor. We would definitely recommend this property.
Experience was fantastic! Room was beautiful, bed was comfortable, food was delicious and staff was great! Highly recommend staying here.
Ahhh-mazing experience from check-in to check-out. We came to celebrate our 20th anniversary and were blown away. We arrived to a bottle of champagne and a lovely note from the staff. Our room was beautiful and clean with amazing views of the ocean. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was so kind. The beach had chairs setup for guests and the beach wasn’t crowded at all. Even for June! We will be back!
Great location, nice staff enjoyed the breakfast and cocktail hour. Beach chairs and towels provided.
Some of the rooms tend to be small, not a lot of counter space. The hefty amenity fee per day means you’re not really getting complementary beer, wine, snacks, water bottles, and breakfast. I don’t remember that fee always being a part of the total stay.
