Marriott's Harbour Point and Sunset Pointe at Shelter Cove

The front desk was not helpful during the check in process. We were never told that there would be construction work occurring and loud noise throughout the day outside of our room. Very limit food items on property. I do not recommend the location.

This is one of the nicest and most relaxing places we have stayed with the Marriott resorts on Hilton Head Island.
Clean, quiet and accommodating.
The employees were extremely nice and helpful, especially Denise!
Recommend the Serenity Pool as it is away from the larger pool and most of the smaller children.
Great location and shuttle service to the beach was a HUGE plus!

am giving this a low rating because after paying over $500 for one night and 5-hour drive I was told that my booking had been canceled when I tried to check in. At first the lady at the front desk claimed that the cancellation did not happen on their end. After I showed her my Hotels.com app displaying an active reservation AND had a representative tell her they had not cancelled my reservation she made up a story that someone called in, gave my confirmation number, and told them it was a scam so they had to cancel it. Makes no sense considering she had just said the cancellation wasn’t on their end. AND confirmation numbers are unique so it was impossible that anyone other than myself or Hotels.com would’ve called in the cancel with my confirmation number!!!! She wasn’t even accommodating for their error AT ALL. Any other resort would’ve apologized for the mistake and rebooked the room at no charge considering that I had already paid for it!!! I got no apology and no accommodation and that was unacceptable. Don’t go here! They will cancel your room without your knowledge and LIE about it no matter how much you paid.

The woman at the front desk was derogatory and condescending - presumably because we were not dressed well enough after a 10 hour drive. I asked if the building and and room number would be easy enough to find / obviously labeled, or if we needed any specific instructions to find it. Her response was “I have faith in you.” Do better. Room and property is great for what it is - anything that seemed a little dirty was because of age. Won’t be back, but fine for passing through, as long as you look the part, apparently.

Great stay for a corporate Christmas party. Spacious rooms, amazing food/drinks and a very clean property. Only gripe is the long walk to your room from the front desk! Parking is convenient and the beach is nearby! Definitely will be back!

Room was very clean and comfortable

Hotel staff was very courteous and responded to requests with alacrity. The villa allocated to us was on the ground floor overlooking Shelter Cove. Very well appointed, with fireplace and gorgeous views. Highly recommend this property for an off-season stay

It's been a year and much different weather, but still lots to do. Apocalypse 16 and Maycie work above and beyond in this cold to help the guests have fun. The people at the desk are kind and very respectful. Look for them to go far in life. Oh and as a solo visitor, I enjoy the daily txts to which I can respond in case of an emergency. A great use of media.

Love the set up of the rooms

Stayed here this week and encountered one of the nastiest and rudest desk persons in recent memory and any Marriott property, timeshare or any other destination location. The daily texts and emails were being sent to another person in our family and had asked for them to stop or get redirected. Instead of apologizing or attempt to correct this, she rudely hung up on me. When I called back, she didn't take the call but forced me to use the phone directory to connect. Her response when I asked why she hung up on me was, "There was nothing to say to you..."

Place could have been cleaned better! Sheets were questionable. But the pool was gross. Bandages floating around and bugs and debris.
