Canalview Hotel Ter Reien is a self check-in hotel, where no 24-hour front desk is available.
There will be staff present at the reception between 14:00 and 20:00.
All information about check-in and staff presence will be provided before stay.
Not inclusive roomprice, supplements:- Hairdryer: these are available at reception (from 08.30am-14pm for a supplement of €5.00.
- Extra pillow: € 2.50 per unit
- Tea kettle: € 5.00 per stay
- Service fee € 5.00 per person per stay
- Extra towel package € 10 per person per stay and includes 2 large towels,2 small towels,1 bath mat
Please note that no intermediate housekeeping service is provided during your stay. Towels are not replaced automatically.
Heating policy in winter: The heating is automatically provided at a max. of 20 degrees in the rooms from 4.00pm - 10.30am.
Renovation/construction/maintenance work for the exterior/interior of public spaces and rooms will be carried out from 01/01/26 to 31/12/26Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Poca pulizia (capelli tra le lenzuola), stesso prezzo per camere ristrutturate ed altre in ristrutturazione (bagno e corridoio senza pavimento). Non menzionato il fatto che ci destinassero camere non ultimate in fase di prenotazione

Really unique property. A bit of a walk from city center, but I think that’s an asset given how busy and popular Brugge is.
The only thing I might recommend is a short semi transparent curtain in rooms on the canal. The heavy curtains were lovely but blocked all light. When I was in my room during the day time tour boats went by often (which was no problem, they were quiet) and I would have like to have been able to have more light without giving the tour boats a view into my room.
Great location, short walk to the center and at the same time quiet place to rest after the day. The staff was super friendly and helpful, room was exactly as described, clean and very comfortable beds. Definitely great value for the money, would stay there again.

Even though the property is undergoing renovations it was well presented, clean and quiet.

The receptionist and the breakfast lady were so pilot. It was in a lovely location. Bus stop right outside the door for the train station. The place felt safe and secure and spotlessly clean. Would definitely return. I'd my own bread which they kept in the fridge for me.
There's one small hotel style bar of soap. If you're travelling light with no shower gel, it's not ideal. That's a personal opinion though and we survived.
El hotel es bonito, esta situado sobre el canal, aunque claramente no tienes vistas desde la habitación. El personal es muy amable. En especial la mujer del desayuno! En cuanto a la cama, era cómoda y la higiene de la habitación estaba bien también! El desayuno es variado!
No me gustó que me hayan enviado varios mensajes diciéndome que debía obbligatoriamente hacer el check-in online y abonar las tasas.
No lo hice por recomendacion del servicio de atencion al cliente de booking y pude hacerlo sin problemas en la recepción, pero me tuvo preocupada varios dias.
El baño de la habitación es como el de un bus, o el del avión, del mismo.material. Es muy pequeño y bastante incómodo. Realmente si no fuera por el baño la puntuación sería aún mayor.
The location was great. The breakfast was also nice even though the second day they didn't have eggs and refused to make some even when we came for the hour we signed up for (which was also strange - they wanted us to pick when to go to breakfast and in the end when we were going in the hour we picked, the food was already eaten by the first group)
There were some strange things even before we went. They were constantly writing to me to pay some extra taxes, in the end they wanted me to pay twice the same price I paid here. When we went we were supposed to have our keys in a box, there were not there and were taken by another family, the women on the phone was not helpful at all.
The room smelled awful, it didn't really have a roof, it basicly had some plastic sticked to it, the bathroom and toiled felt like something in a truck and not in a room.
