Location and views
Price and cost to use amenities despite fact that we did not due to weather and the one day our kids wanted to take a kayak out at 4:15 (when the weather cleared) we were told they could not as all boats had to be back in by 5.
The room was amazing for its value! The beds were really nice and the cabin-like feel was the cherry on top! Plus, the tv, surprisingly isn’t cable!
The pool is nice, however the hot tub and free dry sauna is the best!
The microwave was what many would call “DOOKIE, being very dirty and not overall unpleasant. Some parts of the room also followed the trend, some parts having mysterious goop.
The pool was really nice, except for being a little cool. View was very nice. Balcony was pleasant to sit and take in the view.
Resort had no elevator, in our view a negative fact. Room also had no microwave, although not absolutely necessary, it would have been a nice convenience. Cleaning service was mediocre.
location
restaurant ran out of food
Nice localization
Nice outdoors
Rooms need to be renovated
Windows screen dirty and very hard to open
Old furniture , ripped chairs
Comfortable beds. Resturant on site was handy.
Very dated, doors old, wallpaper peeling in hallways, some windows you couldn't see through because the seals were gone. Probably a nice place in its prime but somewhat an old relic now, especially for the cost. Many unexpected charges, municipal accomodation fee and resort fee ($39 additional charges plus tax).
While pets allowed they are not welcome, there is no area for them outdoors nor at the water.
Very good
Good
Overall, we were very happy with our stay. Having both an indoor and an outdoor pool was a great advantage, and the hot tub was especially excellent. The restaurant was also quite good, especially in terms of value for money. The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and not too far from the town centre.
The only negative experience we had was with one of the staff members. We wanted to rent some equipment to use on the lake, but we were told that we could not because there was a wedding taking place. We completely understood and patiently waited for the wedding to finish. However, the wedding was held in an area that was not actually related to the lake activities, and we still had to wait for quite a long time. My eight-year-old son eventually saw people leaving the wedding and simply went to ask when it was over and when we could use the equipment. The staff member spoke to him in a very harsh and threatening manner, saying things like, “Don’t do that again,” “You are being very disrespectful,” and “I won’t let you use anything.” We found this completely unnecessary and inappropriate, especially toward an eight-year-old child who had been patiently waiting for quite some time. My son even apologized, showing great maturity, but the staff member continued with comments such as, “Do you want me not to let you go?” followed by “Fine, I’ll let you go.” It felt like an unnecessary display of authority and was very disappointing.
Bathroom needs an update.
The amenities and property is absolutely beautiful!
It is run down and due for renovations, especially the rooms. I also wish there was an easier way to get down to the lake. Maybe another set of stairs on the other end of the property.
Die Lage zum See mit nettem Strand
Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Keller, die Einrichtung war schon in die Jahre gekommen und es sollte mal renoviert werden. Das Zimmer war aber sauber und ruhig.
The location was amazing.
The rooms could have a been a bit cleaner. We had no hot water one of the days for a few hours but the front desk lady I believe her name was Reena she was very helpful and made our stay more comfortable.
Property was great, nice setup
Little dated , no elevator
