The location is great.
This stay was a huge disappointment. We’ve stayed there before and went back because of the amenities but they were missing this time. The pub wasn’t open until dinner at 6. We had looked forward to a late afternoon drink in the bar to watch Olympics. The restaurant was only open from 6-8:30. When we asked to see a menu they couldn’t find one. It was like they weren’t planning to feed anyone. We went elsewhere and when we returned at 7:30 they told us we needed to order now because they decided to close early. Not customer focussed at all.
The staff were uninformed. They didn’t know what was going on or where things were and appeared not to care. Horrible customer service.
The activity/amenity fees were a total rip off. Not at all worth what we paid. Did not match what is promoted.
When I booked our stay, the information about facility sounded promising, although the price seemed high, but we were willing to spend a bit more for our 60th wedding anniversary. Staff was friendly and helpful whenever we needed something. Buildings outside were beautiful and looked well taken care of.
Booking's website said that the restaurant was open and the breakfast was included, neither was true. Our reserved room had an electric fireplace which was inserted into an old woodburning one. I think they forgot to block the old chimney. Cold freezing outside air was blowing into the room. The room heater could not bring the temperature up to a bearable warmth. The staff offered the next room to us, which was okay.
Interiors of the rooms were dated and not what you would expect in this level of resort.
On January 16th Booking charged me $466.20 for two night's stay and as we were there the price was $138.00 per day! How is this possible? Today it is $130.00. That is closer to real value of their rooms!
Water in pool was too cold
Very dated
Klein
Location to Ski hill could not be better.
The views.
Couldn't see the view as the windows were dirty. Not enough seating to socialize in the bar area unless you sit at a dinning table. Ask for a room with a view was told not available however another member of staff said there was. Room was out dated and dirty. The lighting in the room wasn't sufficient therefore making them very dark and dank feeling. Was told rooms would be adjoining but they were not. Receptionist chose not to really listen to questions he just kept saying yes yes yes.
Close to where we needed to be. Beautiful view. Great service. Always things to do.
Our room needed some repairs, but it was comfortable for our needs.
The location was excellent. Good great. Rooms nice but needs soft seating and a balcony.
No balcony. No soft seats
Old
Location, price.
No gym or a place for indoor activities. I remembered there were a place for pingpong but can't find it now.
The staff were amazing, very helpful and incredibly friendly. The NYE celebration was also excellent! I would definitely recommend the hotel and will most likely stay again.
The indoor pool was to cold to really enjoy.
the food was good
No elevator. Did not receive the room that I had booked and the front desk associate was unaccommodating. This actually ruined the entire trip for us
We stayed here for 2 nights in Dec 2025. It was horrible. First there was water on the floor, the fridge had leaked. It was also freezing. Concierge came and offered to change rooms. We did. The next room was freezing and was not warming up. We crawled under the covers. The heater was working, but not enough heat to warm up the room. The concierge did offer to change rooms again but we settled on extra blankets as im sure all rooms are cold.
If thats not bad enough, the shower water was hot and then cold as I was full of soap and shampoo
Same thing the next day.
We asked to speak with manager but not in. Hmmmm my daughter sent an email, no reply. I've left 2 messages and no reply.
I will never stay there again. Id much rather pay extra and stay at Deerhurst
BTW. The room finally warmed up by pur 2nd night but floor was still cold.
Location was nice, right by the slopes
When we arrived, the pool, hot tub and sauna were out of commission, bar restaurant were closed(we arrived at 7pm) and no staff working. The place is under renovations and no noticevehen I booked(same day as arrival)
We came here for a work holiday party. The view from our room was gorgeous, the buffet food was excellent and the party overall was great. The DJ they hired did an excellent job. Only downsides were they charged more than $11 for one can of hard cider, and the rooms/hotel are a bit dated. Overall, a very pretty area, a memorable meal, and a fun time.
