Antea Hotel - Special Class

The Antea was a pleasant surprise. Location is incredible in the heart of the Sultahnamet. The street in front of the hotel is not a thru street so traffic noise is minimized. The staff are incredible- pleasant, efficient and smiling. I was impressed by the quality and cleanliness of the hotel. It is now my go to when I visit Istanbul .

The stuff were fantastic however if you’re booking for the pool or the gym be careful it’s more like a paddling pool size swimming pool and the gym is something from back to the future

This hotel is in a perfect location for Istanbul! The lady "Hemet" in reception. the young beautiful lady at Breakfast "Diogo" plus the housekeeping lady make this hotel WORTH IT! These 3 ladies are GEMS!
The rooms are dated but comfortable for example the curtains don't fit the windows, however it's in a quiet location with lovely bathroom great shower comfy bed, just small and dated.
The breakfast is OK lots of choice but no beans; no fried eggs, unusual cereals but lots & lots of fresh salads, fruits, breads and lots to drink hot or cold.
Close to trams; Bazaars; Hystoric sites; GREAT LOCATION 👍🏾

Location, clean. Swimming pool is too small and not maintained. Gym is not well maintained and limited

The room had terrible air conditioning.

Very central prime location, clean rooms and the staff are very friendly and happy to assist in any questions or recommendations. Free breakfast. I recommend going to Hanzade terrace restaurant which is so close to the hotel which is well priced, awesome food and a spectacular view of Istanbul.

Amazing trip

Great hotel in an ideal location for transport links and sightseeing.

They had an issue the first day of our stay, but fixed it right away. Offered us transportation to the airport for the inconvenience. Staff very nice. Best of the hotel is staff and location. Our room was very very small. Worst was breakfast. EXPEDIA, however, sucks.

Room was mouldy and damp.
Staff were rude and almost offensively unhelpful. Fobbed off when tried to raise concerns about the room.

Spa mostly didn’t work- sauna and steam room didn’t work. When discussed with reception was told they did- clearly didn’t as it was around 30 degrees in the sauna and there was no steam or heat in the steam room.

Breakfast was poor and basic.

When raised further concerns was told by staff that should have complained sooner- we had tried to do but was told to wait until after the weekend morning.

The receptionist told us it was not possible to give a refund and then when we asked for the manager. The manager was in a meeting but the receptionist didn’t know where or when they would be back. The receptionist then gave me the number to call and it didn’t connect or ring.

The staff told me that it was impossible to give a refund and needed to contact hotels.com. Contacted hotels.com who said that we needed to contact the reception of the hotel. Went round in circles re this for a day. Been promised a partial refund. But yet to hear back from hotels.com if this will actually happen

Bel hôtel, bien situé proche du tram et des points d’intérêt. Chambre propre, lits confortables et bon petit déjeuner.

Nous sommes un couple avec un ado.
La Chambre un peu petite pour 3 personnes avec valise ,mais le 3 eme lit ,est un vrai lit et non un lit d’appoint.L’hotel est calme et le personnel a l’écoute et toujours prêt à répondre aux attentes des clients
Rien a redire sur le Spa et ses équipements
Sainte Sophie , la citerne Basilique et la mosquée Bleue sont à 400m ,le grand Bazard a 500m,il n’y a que le Bazard Égyptien qui ce trouve à 20 min à pied ou alors à 10 min en tram
Nous étions là pour visiter,donc cette établissement est idéalement placé et nous avons été agréablement surpris par tous ce que j’ai écrit plus haut.

Beautiful hotel with great spa, gym and swimming pool. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. And the location is excellent! Within walking distance of everything you want to see and visit in Istanbul. We loved our stay and will be going back again. Highly recommend for families with children.

The hotel was perfect. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location was amazing, just a seven minute walk to the mistrial centre on Istanbul. We would definitely stay here again. They even had a free sauna and cold pool for us to use.

Extremely helpful guest services staff, especially for someone who didn’t do enough pre trip planning. The only thing that would make it better would be if they had personally experienced more of the tours being promoted. Overall a very enjoyable stay!!!

We enjoyed our stay, breakfast was very good and rich, coffee machine, tea etc…staff was professional, hotel close to everything, it was an ideal place to stay. One negative thing is that I booked a room with city view and I got a window facing a wall.

The stay in the hotel was unsuccessful. The cooling in the condition is very bad. The room is very small. The breakfast is quite acceptable. The location of the hotel is very good. But I don't recommend it.

It’s walking distance to Ayasofya and very close to tram station and shops.

This is a gorgeous hotel. Very clean, friendly staff, lots of restaurants, shops within walking distance… Metro & Tramway within walking distance. Breakfast was awesome… we had a very nice view of the square. Hotel very safe and quiet rooms!
Will definitely stay here again!
