Great stay, beautifull hotel, will visit again !

A surprising experience
Pros:

Cool lodge vibe with nice clean rooms.
Pros:

Just passing thru and landed at this hotel, which was a lucky choice. Nice lodge vibe especially in the lobby. Front desk person not personable, but who cares? Room clean and comfortable breakfast was fine.

Excellent place to stay in Fargo, ND.
Pros:

There were several factors in making this a terrific experience. It started off with our drive onto the hotel parking lot. The Hotel provides a face of excellence and strength and it did not let us down when we moved inside to check in. The front desk rep. provided us with information and help we needed to deal with an offer we had received from Best Western as members in the Hotel Chain. She was very helpful. She also put us into a great room that was spacious, clean and updated. The breakfast the next morning was very tasty. Proteins, freshly-made pancakes, great coffee options, and a clean dining room area. Efficient check-in and check-out bookended the visit. All in all, a great hotel at a reasonable price that we will come back to when we are next in Fargo.

Cons:

The main reason we booked this hotel was for the swimming pool. After check in and signed paperwork is when we were informed that the pool is down staff wasnt sure if it was temporary or permanent, pool ended up staying down our whole stay. We took a family vacation that we havent done in 3 years and saw the good reviews and very nice looking pool at this hotel and chose this one over another location because of the pool. Staff was really nice. Place was very clean. My family didnt like the beds,
there was a total of 4 of us and 2 different rooms and all 4 of us said the same thing the beds were not comfy at. Overall the stay was pleasant because of the staffing but disappointing about the pool because that's the MAIN reason we booked it for the pool for our kiddos and us adults to swim. We couldnt afford to just go to another hotel because we feared we lost out on money due to it was the day of arrival and we also werent told forsure if the pool was going to be down permanent or just temporary and we did ask and they were unsure at the time. But I think it the pool was functioning it would have been alot more pleasant for our family vacation and then we wouldn't have noticed how uncomfortable the beds might have been but again staff was amazing , professional , friendly and the place was very clean.

A wonderful stay for the price
Pros:

Everything was great. Social hour was wonderful and so was the hot breakfast. Appreciate that there was other food that I could have since I am gluten free. Coffee machine was a huge plus for tasty coffee!

Not a good experience
Pros:

So we stayed on Sunday July 19,2026 when I checked in the gal at the desk was less than friendly - we got the key to our room headed up there to only find the room had not been cleaned-?I headed back downstairs and informed the gal about the room - she mumbled something gave me a different key to a room - opened the door to a urine smell that was so strong but I didn’t go back down we kept the room but we were so disappointed with the service - the horrible smelling room - I had stayed there before and it was amazing - not the case this time - customer service is everything so that little gal needs to learn that😬

Not your average Best Western
Pros:

The property was clean as well as the room. The beds were very comfortable compared to the two other chains that we stayed at during a recent long road trip. Like the design or theme of wilderness. Hot tub worked well was not over hot and jets still had umph to it. Air Conditioning was fantastic in that we were there during a heat wave. Room was quiet and breakfast was decent. Very relaxing stay. Front desk clerk though did not seem to know the area and could not recommend a restaurant which I thought was odd. One suggestion as this place reminded me of a Best Western that I stayed in by Sutherland Oregon area is to have made to order eggs. May have to set up a hot plate to do it based on the layout, but that would push this location and its amenities over the edge.
