We enjoyed the dinner the room was comfortable but up stairs not a property for seniors with limited abilities luckil
Pros:

I love the scenery and the staff . The hotel was different with various buildings around the area . I did not realize that when booking but we managed . The dinner was delicious.

Cons:

The dining room is in the registration building , so if you walk from your room building for dinner , it is a good walk , which I did not mind , but after dinner it was very dark and hardly any lights on the property outside to see the road . It would have been nice to have a shuttle ( golf cart) to take us back to our room building ! We were able to manage the flight of stairs . But not for seniors with limited abilities . The brunch for what we ate was not worth it . It would have been nice just to have à la carte breakfast menu .

Ok did the job. Would I stay again maybe.
Pros:

Beautiful location easy to find

Cons:

The food while good was not excellent for the price. The vegetables and sides lacked seasoning and for $40 for a pork chop I expected a better meal.

Comfortable bed. Good sized room.

Cons:

Handicapped access is non-existent. It is a spa but access to the spa or pool/hottub is by way of staircase only. That is unacceptable for handicapped customers.

It is nice to see the sites and the property.

Cons:

Walking back to river mill building was a little dangerous as there was no lighting to walk along the pathway and the highway. Maybe solar lights that sit higher up

Bed bugs, water ran yellow/brown, couldn't open windows because screens were either missing or broken, good was mediocre

The setting is lovely. The bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

In general the hotel and facilities are looking tired and dated. More care is required in window cleaning and balcony maintenance, for example.
