Lovely clean hotel in a great location and very friendly staff.
The rooms were far too hot. We had a delux room but still only a stationary floor fan which sounded like a plane coming into land! The bed was so comfy but the fan noise made sleeping difficult but impossible without it on! The window only opened a fraction, I know for safety reasons but even with it raining outside, it was far too hot!
I've never had to queue for breakfast as long! Very small room for the amount of people. We were told it was due to a wedding, a football match and the Beatles week but management would have been aware of numbers and should have planned accordingly.
Fabulous location, lovely staff, breakfast was plentiful and not an aneamic cooked sausage or bacon rasher in sight! 241 cocktails were blooming good too!
No air con... not your fault but it was hot! We needed the fan to sleep!
We couldn't fault the hotel. From first walking in to the foyer it was very welcoming. Reception staff was welcoming and friendly. Checked in early.
The rooms were clean and inviting comfy beds,spotlessly clean bathroom breakfast excellent 👌

But Room 511 we found very noisy being on the railway station side and the disturbance of the tanoy from 7.15 am until late

The walk up the hilly road to get to it was the only drawback. I'm not as fit as I used to be.!

Die Lage, die Freundlichkeit des Personals, die schnelle Verfügbarkeit des Aufzugs, die Farben, Ventilator hat unsre Nacht gerettet, die Betten (durch die Federn bin ich öfter aufgeschreckt, weil ich zu nah am Rand war und das Bett auf einmal nachgab, kch wär fast runter gefallen)
Keine Haken im Badezimmer zum Aufhängen des Handtuchs und der Toiletteries, es war im Raum viel zu heiß zum Schlafen - es hat nicht durchgezogen. Wir hatten das Fenster so weit es eben ging offen aber die frische Luft hat sich in dem Zwischenraum zw der zweiten 'Fensterschicht' gehalten statt in den Raum zu kommen. Dabei waren es nur 24 Grad max draußen, drinnen im Zimmer aber mehr. Das Aquarium im Vorraum (Tierquälerei)

This will be my third stay at this hotel. Great location very close to railway station. Lovely rooms. Fantastic breakfast.
Not sure whether it was caused by the weather but our room was very hot couldnt open the window wide as safety locks on them. Ruined our sleep.
