Comfortable and clean
Pros:

The beds were comfortable, the kitchen staff at breakfast were amazing. Front desk staff was also great.

Cons:

I could hear people going in and out if their rooms with the doors slamming shut frequently. Not really anything that can be fixed about that

Nice hotel in a great location.
Pros:

Nice hotel - in a busy area but inside I did not hear the outside noise. We were offered many extras- room upgrade (to a room with a balcony and water view) a drink and light snack in the early evening/late afternoon, and I was not aware breakfast was included - so this was a nice surprise. The room was spacious and well-appointed.

Breakfast selections were very good, breakfast staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The hotel has only ONE elevator. Most of the time we took stairs but when carrying luggage or other bags or food we needed the elevator and sometimes we would be waiting for about 8 to 10 minutes. Most hotels have at least two elevators. Strong suggestion to add another elevator. We heard a lot of complaints about having to wait a long time, especially from those who were slightly handicapped.

Pros:

This review would have been a 5 star except the dinner staff in the restaurant ruined it! We sat for 25 minutes, not one person spoke to us. We wanted to order dinner. We left and had to drive around and find food.. we were 1 of 2 tables occupied. So it was not a matter of being too busy. We were flat out ignored.
That being said, the room and the property were great! The breakfast and staff were far better than any breakfast we have ever had for an included price.
The front desk staff were also delightful.

Not very good this time
Pros:

Well, I’ve stayed here before and I’m not going to blame the employees because they were all fantastic but the fact that I paid for early check-in and there was only cold water for a short bit and then no water for the first day and evening we’ve stayed it clearly wasn’t a good experience this time. My son flew in from Oahu and is in the Coast Guard. He was up 42 hours and just wanted a hot shower and he wasn’t able to get that so was extremely frustrated….There’s two things you want from a hotel, a hot shower and a bed to sleep in. I got the nice bed to sleep in, but Imwe didnt get the hot shower …Probably should’ve gotten 50% off the first night. On top of that, the work that needed to be done for the entire hotel was right outside our room which kept my son up until about one in the morning due to the noise created when fixing the problem…although I understand the urgency to get hot water back we basically got screwed by having the unlucky location in the hotel. And finally, our room is right below the dining hall so instead of setting alarm I was just awake at 5:55 each morning with all therumbling above my head so it just wasn’t a very good experience this time.

Pros:

Room was not as shown on Travelocity. Arrived and water was shut off due to plumbing issue yet nobody called “arriving reservations” to let them know. Room was like a cave with view of a car parked next to our window. Air conditioner was junk and made a “buzz saw” noise when cycling on. Kept us up both nights. I’ll never stay here again. Sincerely disappointed that a place on the water and a great location was such a dump. Sad
