Location is wonderful. Everything is clean and very nicely decorated. Staff was friendly.
Bed was very (too) firm, was not able to sleep well.
I had a great stay at Hotel Ivy during a work trip to Minneapolis and was blown away by the level of care from the staff. From the moment I checked in, it felt like they truly cared about me as a person, not just another guest passing through.
The front desk team was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful and you can tell they take pride in making each guest’s experience special.
The hotel itself is beautiful and quiet, with a calm, upscale atmosphere. I was in a 2-queen room which was very clean, comfortable, and perfect for unwinding after long workdays.
While it’s a bit farther from our office than where my team usually stays, the experience here was easily worth it. This stay completely sold me, and I’ll absolutely be recommending Hotel Ivy to others and staying here again.
When booking a room and trying to avoid another hotel brand, we decided to try Hotel Ivy this trip. It did not disappoint!! This hotel is worth every penny. It is super clean and staff is the friendliest we have encountered at any downtown hotel! This will now be our go to hotel in downtown Minneapolis!
My wife and I have stayed at Hotel Ivy several times over the years. We are local to Minneapolis and any time we need a relaxing staycation, we always book a room at Hotel Ivy. The staff there are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We've been treated to surprises and special extras in our room when we stay for our anniversary, and generally an atmosphere of comfort and hospitality. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, and thank the Hotel Ivy for all their hard work and being the best option in the city.
Everything was so elegant and beautiful
Things were a bit expensive so I had to make do with outside food and drink but that’s a budget issue.
This a wonderful boutique hotel, right near the convention center and many restaurants, all within easy walking distance. The attached Abreva restaurant bar had a wonderfully friendly and expert bartender, Sully. We also had a delicious breakfast on Saturday morning in the hotel bar. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, even though it was right next to the elevator.
It was luxurious, but expensive.
The location was ideal for staying overnight after watching a concert at Orchestra Hall -- two blocks' walk, all on the skyways.
The water in the sink flowed weakly.
Everything about our stay was perfect! Check in was seamless, the room was exceptionally clean and well designed, and the staff was very kind and helpful. There was a large soaking tub which was *chef's kiss* and a great honor bar with local snacks. Will definitely be staying at Hotel Ivy again when visiting the cities - great location too !
The staff was very accommodating and I enjoyed my stay. The restaurants and bar options were great. The room was good sized and well prepared. Thank you for having me!
I LOVE this hotel. I’ve been traveling to MSP for decades and this place is my absolute fav. Hands down. It’s super quiet / I’ve never seen so much as a line at the front desk / extremely polite staff. Has a small hotel feel: just PERFECT !!
We celebrated our birthdays at the Ivy Hotel again, and the suite was amazing—upscale, comfortable, quiet, and spacious. The hotel is lovely, and the spa was excellent.
The restaurant served fantastic food; my favorite was the brick chicken with crisp skin and tender, flavorful meat.
This remains one of my favorite hotels in downtown Minneapolis, and I’d happily stay again.
I truly wish I could give this hotel a higher rating knowing how amazingly attentive and caring the entire staff was throughout my stay. In fact, every time I interacted with them, they were utmost gracious and professional. However, there were still several deficiencies that cannot be overlooked. To start, the rooms are extremely dated with a weird design (large honor bar in the middle of the room that simply just takes away space) and the bathrooms feature very small showers--not what you would expect for a hotel of this caliver. Complimentary bathrobes are provided, but slippers need to be requested, which again, is something basic you expect a luxury hotel to have ready in the room without the guest being required to call for such item. Further, I found the F&B experience to be extremely inconsistent: room service dinner was outstanding whilst breakfast was a disaster--my omelette was served with pieces of lettuce that made it very soggy instead of harsh browns or a tomato the way most hotels would do it to prevent damage to the omelette and my pancakes were literally served on the plate without any garnishing, not even whipped cream.
We live 30 minutes south of Minneapolis and the Hotel Ivy was the perfect fit for our New Year’s Eve stay. My wife and I were welcomed with a smile and check-in was a breeze. Our room was clean, quiet and had a great view. The bed and bedding was quite comfortable. We stopped at the very “lively” lobby bar and the service was excellent. The cocktails were pretty good too 😀. At $60, the valet parking seemed a bit overpriced so we parked at the above ground lot just behind the hotel for half the cost. The Ivy Hotel has a very good buzz throughout with helpful and smiling team members. I’d highly recommend this property.
From the moment we checked in, to the time we checked out, we were greeted by kind, cheerful and helpful staff. It was the best level of service I have ever experienced at a Marriott property and I travel often for business. The hotel was exquisite! Our rooms and all common areas were furnished beautifully and impeccably clean. I cannot wait to come back!!
Excellent experience, the room was well set up and decorated and they even helped us celebrate our anniversary with some dessert! That was really appreciated and top class thank you very much!
My husband and I stayed here to celebrate an anniversary. It was wonderful! Staff were warm, friendly, and the room was clean and luxurious. Dinner at Masa & Agave was delicious. We would happily stay here again!
