We enjoyed our stay and were comfortable. We enjoyed the history and all the things that were preserved.
Pros:

We were pleasantly surprised to find this little Gem.
We were amazed at all the history and historical items we saw in the hotel. It was quaint and pleasant.
The Staff were all wonderful.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS
Pros:

DO NOT GO HERE! I'm warning everyone. This place is just bad on all levels... got there checked in. And the place smelled like a combination of scented spray and moth balls, with a side of death, and if you've smelled death, you'll know what I'm talking about. When we got to our room our neighbors across the way were outside their room screaming about the flooding of the toilet that had spilled over to the sleeping area. The hotel wouldn'It let them out of their night or give them another room. That's when we decided we couldn't stay here. We tried to check out within 15 minutes, but they refused, and told us they would be keeping our money. Bank took care of us; they saw that the hotel already had a very bad reputation and we were reimbursed within 24 hours. The person at the front desk was a super dirt bag who had junkie friends coming in and out as we were there. Again, for 15 minutes. He said there was no manager, but then out of no where a younger Haji came out from who knows where and started being confrontational... it was a total joke. The place was absolutely disgusting and there was no way we would ever stay there or recommend such a horrible place. AGAIN, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, DRIVE RIGHT BY!

Beware!!!!
Pros:

Dirty rooms, linens, toilet, floor, and tub permanently stained. Tiny room with only one hard wooden chair. TV remote taped together. Loud staff early in the morning and loud music till late in the lobby. Bugs in the shower and crawling on the breakfast counter. Just a gross uncomfortable stay.

We enjoyed the historic building and walking around the grounds.

Cons:

The breakfast was slim pickings, which is fine, but what they did have was not stocked - cereal dispensers almost empty, no milk, no hot water for the oatmeal packets, had to ask for more paper plates. The waffle iron worked well. Nice historic hotel
