New Century Grand Hotel Ningbo

This is for the 8th time that I stayed at NewCentury Grand Hotel Ningbo and each time my stay has been fantastic and absolutely nothing to complain about. The beds are comfy, rooms are clean, food is awesome and the overall ambience is pleasant and satisfying. The staff is also co-operative and willing to go an extra mile to accommodate your requests.

Good hotel instalations, helpful staff. But the hotel is not conveniently located and it's difficult to find someone in the staff who speaks English (but using translation apps they are friendly and helpful).

設施很多元！適合商務也適合全家大小入住

出差住宿，除了一般國際性大型縺鎖品牌酒店外，有時候住這類也會給你一些驚喜，之前已試過住同集團的另一間洒店，感覺還可以，房間整潔衞生，而今次住這間全為了他們的自助早餐，雖然價錢絕對稱不上便宜，但絕對比其他中國酒店好，每天的第一餐，不要太刻薄自己嘛

以前住过开元其他城市的酒店，相信开元酒店的品质，开元名都酒店位于宁波博物馆旁边，能免费停车，酒店大堂布置非常豪华和大气，房间舒适温馨，我预订的时候开元名都有优惠活动，给一个相当超值的价格，酒店旁边的宁波博物馆和鄞州公园都非常漂亮，总之这家酒店性价比超高！

The room is big especially the bathroom.

My stay at the New Century was okay and I stay there every time I go to Ningbo (about four times each year). I've been staying there for at least nine years. But I have two pretty big issues. The first is that my international cellular service - which works everywhere else in China - doesn't work. Extremely strange. Second is the food. New Century has a HUGE buffet, both for breakfast and dinner, but it is WILDLY geared toward Chinese only. As a vegetarian, I find it extremely difficult to eat here. There is little that a vegetarian westerner can eat. And that's strange to me. I mean... I eat many things. But the vast majority of the items in that room are meat. Otherwise, hotel is pretty and the rooms are clean, even though I do think they smell like smoke, even when you request a non-smoking room. I guess that's part of being in China but I wish it was just a non-smoking hotel like many others are now. It's much too nice of a hotel to smell bad. Also, I miss the fluffy bathrobes they used to have. And our A/C did not work right so it was rather warm and humid in our room. But the service is good and friendly and the location works well for me.

This was a nice hotel to stay at, the room was comfortable and quiet.
There were english speaking staff but there was at times language barriers, i have stayed at more Western focused hotels in Ningbo where this was not an issue at all.

由於台风，航班延誤一日，旅遊部客服幫忙尋找回程方法，雖然不成功，但好盡力幫助，叧外酒店亦给了優惠價錢延住同一房間。

The overall experience is good. Including greetings at first, welcome tea and fruit. Location is nice with easy accesses to city centre and main attractions. The interior in the room is a bit old -- paintings on ceiling is not quite firm. Nice and clean bath and toilet in the room.

too much mosquito in room and lobby .

Nice walk to park nearby for exercise and also a plaza with plenty off food options

環境舒適，最重要的是這裡的毛巾會讓人覺得用得放心，不像其他地方的毛巾又黃又硬。工作人員服務很用心，下次去還會選擇住這裡。

The New Century Grand Hotel was very impressive. The staff spoke reasonably good English and were helpful through Check-in/out and at breakfast. The hotel is very elegant in its design and has a range of very good facilities. The breakfast was a large buffet and offered a good selection on Western and Eastern cuisine. The room itself was large, modern and the staff had left little welcome notes on the bed, including a summary of tomorrow's weather. Very cute! I will definitely be staying here in the future when I return to Ningbo!
