The hotel’s location is excellent, in a fairly central area of San Cristóbal. The hotel is quiet, and the room was clean and aesthetically pleasing. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming.
We arrived late at night after a transfer from Palenque. When we got to San Cristóbal, it was very cold, and the room was extremely freezing — to the point that we had to wear coats inside. There was no heating option in the room. The room remained that cold in the following days, even around noon when it was warm outside.
We were given a room with an internal window facing the corridor leading to the other rooms, with no additional window. Although there is a photo like this on the website, in practice the room was very dark all the time, and it wasn’t possible to open the curtain because people were constantly walking by in the corridor. To their credit, we were offered the option to move to another room with an external window the next morning, but we weren’t able to do so because we were in a hurry to be picked up for a tour. I believe these rooms should be priced differently and more clearly indicated.
In addition, we were unable to understand why we were given this room when there were available rooms in the hotel, at the same price level and, according to them, of the same quality, that faced outside.

Good service (porters available to help with luggage), a good restaurant, secure parking for motorcycle (reserve ahead as parking is limited), and the terrace was a wonderful place in the evening and early morning.
I needed a porter to open the parking door as it wasn't easy to spot.

La chambre qui m’a été attribuée n’est pas celle que j’avais réservée, celle-là donnait sur la route et toute la nuit il y a eu des pèlerinages avec feux d’artifices, coups de klaxonne, donc impossible de dormir.

Very clean. Comfortable bed. Good sized room and large bathroom. House cleaning was very nice and helpful, worked hard to clean my room as I was sick for 2 days. I would stay here again.
No heat. Was able to get a portable heater which was very helpful. Somewhat loud from noise in hallways at times.
Proximité avec le centre-ville, joli petit hôtel type hacienda, bon petit-déjeuner, personnel correct prêt à vous aider mais parler espagnol est un atout. Certaines personnes parlent anglais.
Il faisait froid dans le bâtiment et dans la chambre et il n'y a pas de chauffage mais il est possible de demander un petit chauffage électrique. Mais je suis frileuse.
