Categories

Cleanliness
4
Multiple reviews report poor cleanliness: rooms and balconies dusty, general 'not clean', cockroach smell in cupboard and overall poor housekeeping.
Service
9.5
Staff repeatedly praised: helpful reception, attentive service for an elderly guest, strong assistance during a delayed flight and a reservation employee (Amila) provided clear, kind refund help.
Location
9.5
Many guests highlight an excellent location and good/view from the balcony; location is a consistently positive point.
Room Quality
4.5
Rooms described as uncomfortable, too small, not as pictured; issues include damaged bed frame, broken bathroom fittings and 'unhinged' toilets.
Amenities
5
Amenities show problems: air conditioning often not working, outdated facilities, bathroom taps broken and water leaks reported — overall below expected standard.
Value for Money
8
Mixed comments: some guests say 'worth the money for the location and facilities', while others call it too expensive; overall leaning slightly positive due to strong location/service value.
Food and Beverage
7
Limited F&B: no regular buffet breakfast (only a la carte on request) — neutral to slightly negative but not widely discussed.
Overall Experience
8.5
Overall sentiment is mixed: excellent location and service offset by poor cleanliness, maintenance and some room shortcomings; several guests nevertheless found the stay acceptable because of location/service.
