Standing in line for a long time....I think they should let people pay online and give them the room number online so they can just show 🆔 to pick up room key.

It was enjoyable - first time to Myrtle Beach area.
Pros:

Everything was good. I thought when I booked I was going to have full ocean view. I was on the splash pad side which was OK but not what I thought I was paying for or getting.

Cons:

Opening the room into a bed.

Pros:

The amenities are nice.

Cons:

For a non-smoking hotel all you could smell was marijuana. We couldn't even go out on the balcony without the smell and smoking being drawn our way. Everywhere you went in the hotel that is all you could smell.

Everything wasn’t all bad. Maybe give it another try to get all the experience.
Pros:

I liked the swimming areas the outdoor and indoor pool. Access to the beach was a nice touch of course. The 3 bed suite was spacious for me and my family.

Cons:

1. Housekeeping only comes when it’s your checkout time and that’s a no for me everyday of your stay should be a must but hey that’s me. If you request for them to come then they will come.
2. There was a stain on the headboard of one of the beds.
3. I was asked do I know where to park. Mind you my first time here. I was stunned I replied no I don’t. Then I was given the directions to where to park.

I enjoyed having the different types of pools for my family especially my children they enjoyed it very much, spent all day there. It was really close to the beach so we enjoyed it………the bartender gave great service and was so nice and she handle the crowd well my husband and i enjoyed her time .

Cons:

Only thing I didn’t like was it was only 1 thing of toilet paper in the bathroom and it seen like it wasn’t a full roll

Nothing really stood out

Cons:

Took us over an hour to get in our room. They gave us key that wouldn’t work and maintenance came to open the door and room already had someone in it. Waited 30 mins for them to figure something out. Took us to another room and that room was destroyed and wasn’t rentable. Waited another 15-20 mins for them to figure something else out. Finally got in our room at 10:30 pm when we checked in at 9:15-9:30pm

Don't waste your money
Pros:

I had a very disappointing experience at Captain's Quarters Resort.
I booked online and was told that construction was limited to the 6th floor. When I arrived late at night with my child, the reality was completely different — construction was happening throughout the property. There was a strong unpleasant smell, and an overall unsafe and uncomfortable environment.
The condition of the hotel did not match the photos advertised online at all. It felt misleading and honestly deceptive.
Because of this, I could not stay and had to find another place for my family late at night, which was extremely stressful. I was told I would receive a full refund, but instead I was still charged $200 for a non-refundable booking ..despite the hotel not being as described.
This experience felt dishonest and, in my opinion, scam-like. Guests should not be misled like this, especially when traveling with family.
I would strongly advise others to be cautious before booking here

Great location
Pros:

I loved the location. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

I didn’t like the fact that the 6th floor/ the entertainment floor was closed. That was a selling point for me booking. They didn’t let me know it was closed til after I had booked and couldn’t get my full deposit back. I emailed them twice and never got a response.
