Oryx Hotel

Very good stay with my ill /deteriorating health wanted to stay near shops but had the hotel had no cancellation policy still after my stay I am happy as I can be so thank you oryx hotel.

Regularly stay at the Oryx when I visit Abu Dhabi. Always excellent service with lovely staff.

Although maybe a little dated, the rooms are comfy and spacious. For the price it is good value.
The Irish pub in the hotel is very pleasant and the happy hour prices are very good by local standards.

Location is great however the hotel not so much.
We had 2 rooms and one of them had cockroaches, also the pool pictures are misleading as around the pool is also the terrace and is kind of strange to use the sunbed with people around sitting on the terrace .
Stuff is nice and helpful.

Very good location within a few minutes walk of the beach. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Average breakfast. Comfortable but not luxurious

Nice hotel

I was skeptical at first as some negative reviews said this is not a good place. It is not very new furnished hotel, however it is still great for the price you pay compared to others. The staff is really good and service quality for that price is perfect!

The location is good for me, but the lobby A/C was broken and the temp is 35 Celsius, I asked for an iron to my room it arrived after I called again 2 hours latter and it was broken! I asked them again to replace it!
The door key had to be reprogrammed everyday!
The room was not cleaned and exchanged dirty towels or made the bed when I called they asked if I wanted them to do it?! I sail yes I had the sign on the door since the morning, when the house keeping arrived they told me the sign said don’t disturb which is not true!!!

Absolutely no complaints - used the hotel as a base only. Comfortable, clean and tidy, huge room!
Lovely Irish pub - will definitely be back!

Incomplete toiletries , air conditioning is insufficient. Front desk staff at night has attitude. Cleaners are not thorough.

Spacious room, comfy bed, and excellent location. Bathroom could use a deep clean, but overall a good stay, especially for the price in downtown Abu Dhabi.
