Clean, beautiful view and location. Helpful staff.
I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant and feel it’s important to share it.
First, the food quality was unacceptable. One of the meals we were served had a hair in it, which immediately raised serious concerns about cleanliness and food handling. When we brought this up, it didn’t feel like it was taken seriously.
The service from our server, Suzan, was also very poor. When we arrived, we had to wait about 15 minutes while she finished a personal phone call before she even came to help us. Throughout the visit, she seemed much more focused on talking with her husband/boyfriend than actually serving customers.
We also informed her three separate times that there were broken glass pieces in the area where my son was playing. This was a serious safety concern, yet it was not cleaned up. We were told it had already been there for about three days, which is extremely alarming and unacceptable for a place that serves families.
When we asked questions about the menu, she didn’t seem to know much about the food and wasn’t helpful at all. On top of that, we felt pressured to leave a tip despite the lack of service. When the bill came, we also noticed we had been overcharged.
Overall, the experience was frustrating and unprofessional. Between the hygiene issue, the safety concerns, the long wait, poor service, and billing problems, it was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. I hope management takes this seriously and looks into both food quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
Property is clean staff is friendly the pool and hot tubs are amazing and location is great!
Don’t like that it is not pet friendly
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very nice property.
Always smells great, a bit out in left field but we love to walk so it is great for us, nice walk to downtown along the lake. Hot tubs and the pool are nice. Rooms are great and we like to take advantage of the BBQs to make a meal.
This was our first visit to Walnut Beach Resort. It was recommended by a friend and we spent two wonderful nights here. The room was beyond our expectations, the view was magnificent and the staff very friendly. We will definitely be going back again. We weren't able to take advantage of the restaurant because it was closed the days we were there. I heard the food is amazing and was a little disappointed that we didn't get to try it.
Beautiful location on the lake. Really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Convenient for walking or cycling along the lakeshore. .Room was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. They accommodated an early check in.
The sofa looked good but wasn't very comfortable for sitting. Otherwise all was good.
We had a good breakfast
There was a lot of kids in the pool, which we were trying to take a break from our own for our anniversary. People put towels on chairs in the morning, so it’s impossible to get a chair at the pool. The hotel seemed understaffed, especially in the restaurant and the beach wasn’t inviting. Updates are needed through the resort.
Loved the pool area. Our rooms were a great size for the family. Love having a kitchenette. The beds were very comfortable.
The restaurant was ok…. Service was slow and the food wasn’t that great we didn’t like that you cannot bring your own snacks and drinks to the pool. You have to purchase from the restaurant. Which is great but kit always needed

Location was great.
Ceilings are very thin. We were on the second floor and could hear people above us walking around and to the wee hours.
We arrived to the most positive staff members. The rooms were so clean and all the amenities were very clean. The restaurant was nice but also casual and so very accommodating. The staff was absolutely the best. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone. The outdoor pools were heated and clean. I absolutely loved every part about my stay. Thank you to everyone
