Pros:

Typisk britisk frokost, er ikke så glad i egg, bacon, pølser til frokost. Annen mat er jo noe man må godta når man er på reise i et annet land. Men, gode frokostblandinger :-)

Other than the above already rated, the quite and safe! But the staff really outdid themselves, the breakfast was just what we needed, and the room was prefectly clean and comfortable. Would book again 100%!

Cons:

Room was a bit cramped (so next time I will take a bigger room) and no mini fridge.

Cons:

Moving the bathroom door sounded like some was knocking on the outside door. Bad hinge, not a squeak . I asked about it at 9a Sunday, and no one responded. I asked at 5p and was told no one could do anything . I said the review would reflect this and was offered a free drink. They showed up with WD40 which did not help. Room 007.
$1000 for 2 nights.

Cons:

La pulizia della camera è stata praticamente inesistente. Per “pulizia giornaliera” intendono sostanzialmente rifare il letto, ma solo se non c’è nulla appoggiato sopra; in caso contrario, non viene nemmeno rifatto. L’aspirapolvere non viene mai passato e la pulizia del bagno si limita a spruzzare un prodotto e passare velocemente un panno. La doccia, durante il nostro soggiorno, non è mai stata pulita. L’unico servizio effettuato con regolarità è stato il cambio degli asciugamani.

Sul sito della struttura viene chiaramente indicata la “pulizia giornaliera”, ma quello che abbiamo riscontrato personalmente è ben lontano da ciò che normalmente si intende per una vera pulizia quotidiana di una camera d’albergo.

Quindi attenzione: chi prenota questa struttura deve sapere che, almeno per la nostra esperienza, non può aspettarsi una reale pulizia giornaliera della camera. È un aspetto che ritengo importante conoscere prima di prenotare.

Location was great, near downtown Edinburgh and all the attractions.

Cons:

Elevator did not work, beds were horrible, room is very small for the price, had to call for more towels because they gave us enough for one person, too expensive for an old hotel.
