Way too much military presence here. Didn’t get to use all the amenities to their full potential because there was always a group of military members taking up a common area. They’re loud, they reserve parking spots with cones from the looks of it. Felt very uncomfortable with what seemed like the patrolling of the room hallways throughout the night. Do they own this hotel? Unusual and uncomfortable experience for sure.

I had high hopes for this hotel, but it's been nothing short of a nightmare. Upon checking in, we were placed in a room right next to military personnel. I attempted to use the courtyard and pool area, only to find a large group of military personnel gathered around, some even appearing to be getting baptized in the pool. It was quite an unusual sight, and I couldn't help but chuckle.
Every day after that, I encountered numerous people in uniform throughout the hotel. They seemed to take over every common area, making me feel increasingly uncomfortable.
This vacation, which I had eagerly anticipated, quickly turned into a nightmare. I strongly advise anyone considering a stay here to book a different hotel down the street. Additionally, I strongly advise against booking at Spring Hill right next door, as the military personnel there are also present. I don't know what's happened to the valley.

Fantastic service. Gloria on the kitchen staff is an absolute sweetheart. The socials in the evening are the best; food, drinks, and smiles from the staff are why I always choose this homewood suites when I’m in the area

My stay here was 5 stars from the time I checked in online. Hannah obliged my request for the complimentary Lifetime Diamond upgrade with a HUGE 2 bedroom suite!
However, what pushed this stay over the top was the way I was treated by Gloria and Erika at the nightly reception! These ladies truly made me happy! This was huge. When you travel for a living like I do and are on the road every week and you can find two ladies who can brighten your night every single time you see them, they are special. They were cleaning, serving, smiling and happy. They literally made such an impression on me. I would never stay anywhere else if traveling down to South Texas. I just wish I could package them up and take them with me along my travels everywhere I go lol!! I wish I could thank them personally but seriously, they made everything feel like home !!

Gloria and Ericka were wonderful during our hotel stay. They were both very friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of. This is an excellent hotel! I’ve stayed here three times over the past year and have zero complaints.
The amenities are top-notch—from the free airport shuttle to the complimentary beer, wine, and dinner served on weeknights. The rooms are consistently clean, and the service is outstanding.
A special shout-out to Hannah at the front desk for being so helpful, and Erika in the dining area for being incredibly friendly and welcoming. Erika always greets you with a smile, and I truly enjoy chatting with her during dinner.
If you’re staying in the Valley area, I highly recommend this hotel!

Great place! Clean,quiet and stuff very helpful and courteous. Marilu and Azirah in the kitchen were great! Helpful,kind and friendly! Food was great!

I have really enjoyed the experience here. One of the things that stands out the most is the evening gatherings in the lobby/kitchen area. I enjoy sitting around, mingling and associating.

The ladies in the kitchen are so warming and vibrant. Especially Gloria and Erika. Every evening after a long day of work, away from home, these ladies make the atmosphere “home-warming”.

It seems there no lack of anything. If you need something, someone is always there to assist. They keep up with the small crowds and greet everyone with a huge smile and sincerity.

These two ladies make my stay away from home very family-like. This is a rare find in many of my other hotels/suites.

I have been having such a great experience here! Specifically with Gloria and Erika! They are always making time to create a great atmosphere when I go to get food! They are always making sure they remember names and saying hi to everyone and being someone who will be here for a while I really appreciate that!
Plus the food is always good!
