I cannot recommend the Holiday Inn in Shanghai’s Jian’an area enough! We had an absolutely fantastic stay and it truly deserves a perfect 10 out of 10.

The standout feature of this hotel is undoubtedly the staff. From the moment we checked in at reception, everyone was incredibly welcoming and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The service is incredibly efficient; whether it was handling front-desk requests or managing deliveries, everything ran like clockwork.

We also loved the little modern touches like seeing the robots deliver food to our rooms was not only efficient but also a cute novelty that brought a smile to our faces!

Housekeeping was top-notch; our room was cleaned daily to a very high standard. A special high five to the cleaning lady on floor 15, she did an amazing job keeping our room spotless and comfortable.

However, the highlight of our stay was the surprise they organized for my son’s birthday. We hadn’t mentioned it to anyone at the front desk, but they noticed the date and arranged a few slices of cake and sweets delivered to our room. I believe it was Leo who orchestrated this, and we are so grateful for his attention to detail.

Overall, we absolutely loved our stay.

I stayed here for a week and the experience genuinely exceeded my expectations. I have stayed at quite a few hotels in Shanghai, including several five-star properties, and the level of service here was honestly among the best I have experienced.

Every member of staff I interacted with was warm, professional and incredibly helpful. Whether it was arranging a car, helping with requests or simply greeting guests, the service always felt attentive and effortless. A special thank you to Rachel Wang at the front desk, who was extremely kind and helpful throughout my stay and also arranged a complimentary room upgrade for me.

The room was very comfortable, the hotel was well maintained, and the breakfast was excellent — probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had in Shanghai. Overall, I felt much more comfortable and looked after here than at many higher-rated luxury hotels.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The location of the hotel is exceptional, making it incredibly convenient for our family. A huge highlight for us was the breakfast—it was very good, and our kids absolutely loved the variety and options available.A special thank you goes to the duty manager, Rachel. She was extremely professional and friendly. Her guidance made our trip so much easier, as she gave us fantastic recommendations for nearby shopping malls, facilities, and fun activities for the kids. Her outstanding service truly stood out and made our family feel welcome. We highly recommend this hotel!

Отель удобно расположен. Совсем рядом жд вокзал(выход из него- northwest) и автобусный. Много маленьких магазинов. Большой торговый центр в паре кварталов. У отеля хороший трансфер в аэропорт - микроавтобус обошелся в 300 юаней. Хороший разнообразный шведский стол на завтрак, плов классный.
Отличная большая игровая зона, релакс для родителей)))
В номере все необходимое есть, душ облачком очень понравился) понятные кнопки включения света))
Пуховое одеяло и подушки- потоньше и пополнее, спали как сурки))
Прекрасный вид на город, спортзал и кафе на верхних этажах

We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn and would especially like to thank the staff for making us feel so welcome.

A special thank you to Ada Zhang, who helped us with check-in, arranged a room change when the original room was not suitable, and patiently and tactfully answered all our questions throughout our stay. Her kindness and attention made a real difference, and we were very touched to exchange small souvenirs with her before leaving.

We would also like to thank the breakfast team, particularly Lemon, who was always incredibly attentive and helped us find tables for our group each morning. The breakfasts themselves were excellent, with a fantastic choice of food, and the care of the staff made them even more enjoyable.
