Beck's service is very thoughtful and attentive, helping to arrange a quiet room. The hotel also offers a wide variety of breakfast options. This is something I didn't expect, the restaurant staff are also very enthusiastic!
I got a free room upgrade at check-in and some fresh fruit, which was super nice! I appreciate Beck's assistance in ordering takeout,he was incredibly patient!

During my stay at the Holiday Inn, I was in significant pain due to a dental issue and had the “Do Not Disturb” red light on for approximately 1–2 days while resting. One night, I requested an additional quilt, and a staff member delivered it to my room. She specifically asked whether I needed housekeeping because the cleaner had not serviced the room that day. I explained that I did not require cleaning as I had a toothache and needed to rest, which is why the red light was on.
The staff member then commented that cleaners “do not earn much if they cannot clean rooms, especially suites,” and advised me not to use the red light because it prevents cleaners from entering. I repeated that I was unwell and needed rest. She responded that it was acceptable for the cleaner to enter just to remove the rubbish and suggested I could simply let them in and clean the rubbish bin to them.
This interaction made me uncomfortable and pressured at a time when I was unwell and simply needed privacy and rest. The Do Not Disturb feature exists to protect guests’ comfort, and it should not be questioned or discouraged by staff. Additionally, comments about staff earnings and implying that guests should feel responsible for cleaners’ income are highly unprofessional and inappropriate.
I am bringing this matter because I believe it reflects a training and service issue that should be addressed to ensure future guests do not experience similar discomfort.

The front desk staff/concierge were incredibly sweet and helpful. Everything was taken care of and it felt like home. I was so surprised at the level of hospitality. The cleaning lady on the 16th floor was literally the most thorough I've seen in my life and I've travelled many countries. That lady deserves a promotion or raise!
Breakfast was superb except that I'm vegetarian. This is more like constructive criticism but I suggest that the hotel adds a separate vegetarian area to avoid cross contamination.
