Location was great and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable.
The room was a great size and the bed was very comfy. Good tea and coffee facilities. Staff were very friendly and really helpful.
Breakfast was great and really loved the decor in the dining room.
Unfortunately no air conditioning and as we were staying in the heat wave (we're from Northern Ireland and not used to the high temperature) we really would have needed it. There was a big fan which helped but we didn't like to keep it on all night.

Room was poor. Not what I was expecting. Small, hot and could have been cleaner. No drinking water in room.

Disliked • After breakfast, I told the receptionist that we would be leaving the room at 1:00 pm and that it could be cleaned. Before we left, we also hung the "Please clean my room" sign on the door handle.
When we returned from a wedding party at around 11:20 pm, the sign had been turned over to "Please do not disturb." We entered the room and found that it had not been cleaned. The rubbish had not been removed, and the room was left untidy. We were very disappointed, as this should not have happened after we had informed the receptionist and requested that the room be cleaned.
It was centrally located, the staff were welcoming

We stayed in room 56 -it was extremely extraordinary hot in bedroom -we requested another room with air conditioning-non available-you should a mini fridge or flask of cold water for room no a/c -we open the window but noise from traffic on motorway -we could not sleep -when I returned to noir room -a man was lying face down on floor -I assisted him to his room -opposite-I had notify reception -was not drunk and not sure if it was the heat -you have no telephone in bedroom -rece0tionist asked the man if needed any help -said no -receptionist said she would check on him again later
All went well. Will return to County Hotel on my next visit
