Great location, comfortable stay.
Pros:

Great location, on the seafront, near to the Brighton centre for graduations etc.
Breakfast good, nice selection.
Bed comfy, nice bathroom. Old building so room floor sloping and very creaky floorboards.

Cons:

Carpets look like they need a good clean/ replace. Cracked tiles on the bathroom floor. Bare walls in the room, could do with a picture or two.

Same familiar favourite
Pros:

Been here several times and had no complaints. I know it's not three or four star quality but I'm no snob.
The staff are hard working and polite.

Cons:

Room on top floor was okay for me but the wife seemed to hate it.
Fire doors need oiling because the squeak ing was like finger nails down a chalk board.
Breakfast is very basic and not much variety.

Pros:

Was expecting a basement room. Eas given a family room will all amenaties.
Room was very clean and really comfortable.

Cons:

The decor in the hallway was dated but it didn't affect the overall experience.
Furniture was dated with handles missing from chest of drawers.

We had a wonderful stay in Brighton, will definitely be back.
Pros:

The location was perfect!! And the staff were absolutely lovely :) We had a great stay and would definitely come back.

Cons:

We were in the basement room and it was a hot weekend so the room was quite stuffy and hot, we were provided a fan however which did help. The floor boards were quite creaky which we heard a lot being in the basement too.

Good enough.
Pros:

Location to beach

Cons:

Be aware this hotel is over 100 years old. Sounds transfers and it’s quite loud, you can hear and feel people upstairs. Carpets are very dingy. Shower didn’t work well.

Pros:

Das Personal am Empfang war sehr freundlich. Man hat uns nett empfangen und war für jede Frage offen. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet und sauber. Von unserem Zimmer hatten wir einen tollen Blick auf das Meer und alles hat gut funktioniert. Preis-Leistung-Niveau war wirklich super!

Cons:

Unser Besuch in Brighton war an einem der bisher wärmsten Tagen im Jahr. Die Zimmer haben zwar schöne grosse Fenster die einen Tollen Blick auf das Meer gestatten aber zeitgleich erwärmt sich das Zimmer dadurch sehr sobald die Sonne reinscheint weil es leider keine Klimaanlage gab. Das Frühstück war etwas arm. Es gab frischen Instant-Kaffee und eine Low-Budget-Version eines English Breakfast, Toast gab es auf Anfrage frisch geröstet. Für den Preis ist das mehr als akzeptabel aber ich hätte auch gerne 10 Pfund dazugezahlt um dafür ein "echtes" Frühstück zu bekommen.

pretty good overall with only a couple of niggles
Pros:

room adequate, very clean, shower nice and hot, coffee facilities as expected. Breakfast very good and hot and staff very attentive.

Cons:

No wifi in room, only at reception, dodgy tv remote control, all doors squeeked when used.

We had a good one night stay here. It suited our needs.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was nice and well cooked. The room was clean and adequate.

Cons:

The decor is tired. Stair carpet is worn. Furniture in the room is mismatched and old.
