Not value for money. Won’t come back.
Pros:

Excellent location
Period property

Cons:

Very narrow staircase.
Unclean room. Stain on the bed and mattress.
Mattress not comfortable. Gave me a sore back.
Bathroom sink took a long time to empty.
Very low headspace (ceiling)
Could have had more options for breakfast
Felt cold and damp.
Glad I didn’t come in winter. Heating didn’t work.
Felt like Air BnB and I was staying in a loft conversion.
Sorry wasn’t pleased at all.
I wish, the photos actually reflected the room quality.
This place needs a very good makeover from inside.

Good position on beachfront if you don't mind a gentle stroll, short taxi ride from the station,
Pros:

Location was great for us, opposite the i360, directly opposite access to the beachfront, 20min walk to pier. 7 min walk to the town shops. Breakfast had a decent selection, something for everyone. Bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, beans, mushrooms. 3 types of cereal, fruit, yoghurt, 3 types of juice, toast, jam and marmalade. Tea and coffee.
Staff were great, friendly and always helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
We have already booked to go back next year !!

Cons:

Furnishings a little tired in the room, stair carpet could do with replacing and a fresh coat of paint on the walls in the stairway but main lobby and breakfast room were lovely.

Pros:

It was a lovely hotel,

Cons:

I had a guest arrive to see me for one hour and the receptionist came to my room to make sure he had left and when I advised he went earlier.
He insisted he wanted to check my room.
Not acceptable or appropriate behaviour.

Dirty room but breakfast good
Pros:

Location and the breakfast was good - the dining room well decorated and coffee good.

Cons:

The room was filthy - the net curtain over window had fly dirt all over it and was crumpled. The radiator in the bathroom rusty. The bathroom door didn't close properly. The smell from the kitchen downstairs came through the bathroom window into the bathroom and through room.

Just the right location for town and the conference centre

Hand held shower, broken blind, one of the cups in the room hadn’t been cleaned since the previous occupants and was stuck to the saucer with dried coffee
