Friendly and Helpful staff
Very spacious, and comfortable bed!
A bit too noisy, room was right above the restaurant
The staff was SUPER friendly. Two great restaurants The Regency and China Garden are within walking distance. If you’re looking for slick and new, this isn’t for you. If you’re good with the flow and like quaint, you’re home. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. It was a great start to the day.
The elevator is an ancient beast, but we were laughing a lot as we slayed it.

Proximity to the beach and restaurants
The staff were welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was lovely. The room was clean, with the bonus of some toiletries. The Hotel is located right next to a big car park so easy to travel in by car and then explore the city on foot. The car park is expensive but this is not unusual for a city centre location. The room was quiet at night but a nice busy feel in the local area during the day, and the hotel is right on the beach by the i360! A short 10-15 minute walk and you are at the pier and the centre of Brighton. A lovely budget choice for a weekend stay - we were here to support a friend who was running the Brighton Marathon and it was ideally situated for that.
The bathroom was clean but the shower head needed replacing, which meant the water dribbled out like a tap as opposed to a spray of water. A simple fix could have made the bathroom a better experience! The hotel is old and therefore I expected some 'querks' however, the main double bed was on a really sloped part of the floor which meant my husband had to sleep in one of the singles as he kept rolling out!! Maybe a repositioning of the furniture could improve this.
Perfect location in centre of promenade
Room was a little tired in decor but comfortable bed and great view
It was in a very good location and the room was very clean and in a central position for access to everywhere.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but was good too. All hot food for a cooked breakfast was available together with cereals and some fruit.
There was no internet in the room and although they stated there was internet in the reception and restaurant, we didn’t get any reception anywhere.
Its close to the beach and straight opposite the i360. Only a short stroll to all the shops and entertainment.
The hotel itself was clean and well maintained.
The room was a little dated but the beds were comfortable and the room was spotless. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend if your looking for a cheap getaway.
The room was warm as the radiators were on full, despite it being warm weather outside, we have to leave the window open which let in the noise aswell as the fresh air. They did however provide a fan and we managed to switch off the heating in the room.
Didn't spoil out trip, as the location was perfect for us.
Good area clean and tidy good breakfast and comfy beds
The staff were very friendly, the location was excellent & we all slept very well.
The breakfast was good although a variation would have been even better. Even if it was just fried eggs instead of scrambled for one of the days. Although the mushrooms & bacon were amazing.
The location and room size was very good. I have booked for a family room , it was very comfortable.
The location.
