Location molto suggestiva, merita più di 2 stelle.
Un ringraziamento speciale a Martina, davvero carina, gentile e super professionale. È stata sempre disponibile e sorridente, facendoci sentire accolte fin dal primo momento.

Cons:

Difficile da raggiungere in auto poiché si trova in un punto abbastanza alto di Taormina e la strada è piena di tornanti.

Pros:

The view is beautiful, but unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of our experience.

Cons:

The food was poor and extremely overpriced. They insisted that we pay the tourist tax in cash, but we had run out of euros and only had U.S. dollars, and they would not accept a card. They also provided no clear information or alternatives for parking and tried to pressure us into paying for valet parking.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit super Ausblick
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Der Ausblick von der Dachterrasse ist außergewöhnlich und es lohnt sich, dort Abends noch etwas zu verweilen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und wir hatten kein Problem, an der Straße über dem Hotel noch einen Parkplatz zu finden.

Cons:

Als wir den „Flexible Room“ gebucht haben, dachten wir, dass es nicht klar ist welcher Raum beim Check In zur Verfügung stehen würde. Das wir den Raum während unseres Aufenthalts ändern müssen, hatten wir bei unseren Reisen bisher noch nie. Ist bei Booking ausgewiesen, könnte aber präsenter sein.

Ottima posizione
Pros:

Struttura in una bella posizione, anche se distante a piedi dal centro e dal mare. Conviene spostarsi in auto o con i mezzi come consigliato da loro all’arrivo.
Disponibilità di parcheggio in struttura a pagamento.
La struttura non è nuovissima seppur tenuta bene.
Il parcheggio privato ha degli orari entro i quali rientrare in struttura. La sera siamo rientrati troppo tardi per cui non ci è stato possibile parcheggiare all’interno. Abbiamo trovato un posto in strada e la quota ci è stata detratta.

Cons:

Problema con il condizionatore che ha gocciolato tutta la notte causando disagio.
Prezzo per la colazione a persona a mio avviso eccessivo.
Rapporto qualità prezzo a mio avviso alto

Bon séjour dans l’hôtel, et vue incroyable sur les montagnes

Nous avons aimé la grande terrasse de notre suite et tout était très propre. Les hôtes étaient très gentils

Cons:

À 15/20’ du centre, compliqué de le faire en toute sérénités la nuit mais faisable et pas trop dur malgré les les montés. Pas de luminosité dans les chambres et parfois odeur d’humidité.

We enjoyed the views & the authentic, amazing breakfast: memorable stay for our 1st trip to Italy.
Pros:

The breakfast was amazing. Just amazing. Best variety we've ever had for a hotel breakfast. Sweet and savory Italian foods. So authentic and tasty and lovely.
The hosts were very accommodating - nice people.
The view out the hotel room window was second to none: looking down the cliffs to the Ionian Sea to the left and Mt. Etna to the right... just surreal.
And the towns of Taormina (below) and Castelmola (above) were beautiful. The views from Castelmola were breathtaking.

Cons:

The air conditioning leaked water in the room. But it was a very, very hot week, and I imagine it was stressing the AC and the electrical grid. The bathroom was a little dated.

Good views, but several drawbacks!
Pros:

Beautiful views, but several drawbacks

Villa Greta has some lovely highlights, particularly the stunning views of Mount Etna and the bay. The complimentary Prosecco was a nice touch, and the lasagne was a definite positive.

However, there were also quite a few negatives. There are lots of stairs, which may be difficult for some guests, and our air conditioning was not working well, making the room uncomfortable at times. The rooms are quite small, and it is around a 20-minute drive to the beach.

The beach club access was another disappointment. At €45, it felt very expensive, and we did not find the beach club particularly classy or worth the price. Unfortunately, some of the staff also came across as rude and unwelcoming, which affected our overall experience.

One of the biggest disappointments was how our situation was handled when Mount Etna erupted and flights were cancelled. We had to leave one night earlier than planned because of the flight disruption. We felt the response from the property was quite dismissive of the situation, and despite the exceptional circumstances, no refund or compensation was offered for the unused night. We would have expected more understanding and flexibility given that the disruption was completely outside our control.

For the price we paid, we expected a much higher level of hospitality and service. Unfortunately, the overall lack of warmth and understanding from the staff made the high price feel difficult to justify.

Overall, the views and a few nice touches were enjoyable, but the comfort, location, expensive beach club, staff attitude, high price and lack of understanding when our travel plans were disrupted meant that the experience did not live up to expectations.

Cons:

The room was advertised as a terrace and pictures of a daybed and sun beds. In reality it was a small table with two chairs with a ‘shared’ terrace. No privacy and completely different to the photos.
