Hotel Victoria

The hotel couldn't be more central, being in the middle of busy Corso Umberto. I asked for a room at the back and I did not hear a thing, as the room is well insulated.
The staff was very helpful, especially with my luggage: there are a few steps to reach the lift and they carried it for me on arrival and departure.

Although the hotel is an older property with a lot of history, its fantastic location and excellent room cleanliness more than make up for its age.

The twin brothers and the reception staff member who checked us out were always smiling, friendly, and helpful. We would also like to compliment the lady with glasses and a high bun who attended to us during our three days of breakfast. Her warm and attentive service was much appreciated.

The air-conditioning and shower also worked perfectly well throughout our stay.

There are, however, a few areas that could be improved. The mattress has sunk in and would benefit from being replaced or having the mattress topper changed. The flush occasionally required us to press the button several times, sometimes with considerable effort.

We were also concerned about a housekeeping incident. The staff member opened our locked room without knocking first. Although they dont provide "Do Not Disturb" sign, we believe staff should always knock and wait for a response before entering a guest's room, particularly when the door is locked. Unfortunately, after we stopped him from entering, he did not lock the door again, which was concerning from a security and privacy perspective.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return. We hope the hotel will consider replacing the sunken mattress or mattress topper and reinforcing the proper housekeeping procedure for entering occupied rooms. With these improvements, we would gladly stay here again.

Its position, reception staff, and soft white big towels. Tea making facilities and fridge in the room. Outside seating facilities if needed. Very clean.

Location was excellent, staff was outstanding and breakfast was good.

A suíte é pequena, mas limpa e bem charmosa. O local de banho , onde fica o chuveiro, é muito pequeno e para uma pessoa acima de 80kg praticamente impossível. A localização é excelente e o Atendimento também, com destaque para a simpatia e cordialidade de todos eles.

Abbiamo scelto questa struttura per la sua posizione perfetta in pieno centro storico. Anche se abbiamo trascorso gran parte delle giornate al mare, la sera è stato davvero piacevole e comodo uscire a piedi per girare in centro. Nota di merito per lo staff, che ci ha accolto con estrema gentilezza per l'intero soggiorno. Struttura consigliatissima!

Hotel elegante , camere confortevoli , pulizia eccellente, colazione abbondante e varia , soprattutto l’accoglienza da parte dei ragazzi della reception e ringrazio le Signore che servono la colazione , attente e affettuose . Grazie hotel Victoria , il suo staf , ad avere reso il mio soggiorno a Taormina , unico e in pieno relax. Grazie e ci vedremo appena tornerò a Taormina .
