The welcome was exceptional (Vicky on reception). A superb dinner (steak). Safe parking behind a barrier. Late checkout (1100).
Lovely place to stay. Beautiful room good food courteous staff.
Nothing
It was nice and clean and very comfortable
Food offering was poor, breakfast very disappointing
Lovely breakfast but very slow service. Lovely hotel and great staff we stayed in the suite room 3 and have to say the bed was probably the most uncomfortable one I’ve slept in.
We really enjoyed our stay at the George. The room was very comfortable, great shower and bath. Breakfast was really good quality.
We stayed in a room facing the road which is a major a road so very noisy. If you want a quieter room I would specify a room at the back of the hotl.
Room was very big, beautifully decorated. It had all the necessities like kettle and coffee machine. Breakfast was
freshly cooked. Had dinner couple of times and was superb. Atmosphere in the dinning area was excellent. Everyone
was very friendly.
Can't think of any better improvements. Maybe if the hotel can provide some sort of taxi service as taxis are
not easily available in the area.
Room nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. Nice products in bathroom
We waited 30 minutes for our breakfast to arrive from ordering it. The tea came quickly but was cold by the time the food arrived
Location, parking, upgrade
Solo travellers not really considered.
The rooms were very comfortable and the ambience in the restaurant, bar and patio were very nice. We enjoyed the food in the evening very much. Breakfast was also good.
It was regrettable that the "free" breakfast drinks only included tea or filter coffee, with cappuccino requiring an additional payment. That at least should have been communicated to us in advance (although we would have still stayed), but really seems like unnecessary penny pinching given the cost of the free food.
The Food. The room names. The L,' Orangerie reed diffuser in bathroom. The message on the window, tears of yesteryear.
The pruce of a guest for us £260 for Friday night, but tge same room on Saturday by Expedia was £118.
They repeatedly said it was her booking when it was my booking. It is a fractious family siituation .
The Room John Eyre, the fishy wall paper hard to establish why. The circular mirror could have touch lighting.
Location
Window looked onto the Bins. You could not have a lie in as staff emptying glass bottles into the bins.
Lovely property, large room with excellent facilities in the room. Very pleasant staff. Breakfast was exceptional. We ate dinner at restauant which was excellent.
Nothing
