Was under construction. But everything was in order and not that slightly for renovation purposes
When I first got into my room,I noticed that I didn’t have a microwave, I called the front desk. They apologized and I had one within 10minutes!

The staff was very helpful. It's right next to the county jail so it's safe with the cops near by

Everything had dead bugs in the bathroom and the room that they gave me they said didn’t come with a refrigerator and I ordered a superior king bed and the gave a room that had two full size beds and the when I canceled they going to charge me for the whole stay when I didn’t even stay there and went and got a different hotel and now they won’t even respond to me

I had to put 150$ deposit for the one night and I never got my deposit back the manager kept it and is giving me the run around he made me use Cash App to do the room deposit and I had to send it to somebody or he wouldn’t let me stay and I he said he would refund me the deposit in the morning after check out but it’s already been going on 4 day and I haven’t got it back, they keep giving me the run around and I want me deposit back I left the room in perfect condition the manager said everything look good and that I would receive the full deposit

I drove 14 hrs and couldnt drive anymore so i figured id lay down for a few hours so i booked this place.
When i arrived, no one was at the desk. I had to call to someone to show up in PJs with blood shot eyes only to tell me they only accept cash, cashapp, venmo. I paid and they put me in a room. Before i unloaded my bags, he moved me into a different room because the one he assigned wasnt renovated and this new one was. I was also not given room keys because he opened the door for me. I had to call and ask for a room key to which he replies "well, do you plan on leaving the room tonight?" I woke up this morning to shower to find MOLD in the bathroom and water not draining in the tub and water damage allllll over the ceiling. THIS IS THEIR RENOVATED ROOMS! I cant imagine what the non-renovated rooms look like.
Stay away from this place. Sleep in your car. Sleep under a bridge. Whatever you do, do not book this flithy place.

The property cancelled my reservation because I selected “pay at the property” instead of pay now months before my stay without telling me. The hotel name is completely different in person too, it’s not called Americas Best Value Inn it’s called Blue Jay. Hotel staff wasn’t in the office despite it being open making me wait over 15 minutes to be helped. The number on the booking profile didn’t match their actual phone number either. Avoid if you can.

Me and my husband booked November 7th, an we booked though bookings.con. Once we got to the property there were no body there to sign us in we waited about an hour to get attended to. Once we were checking in I told the manager that I had a reservation that I booked though bookings.com he said that they couldn’t revive my payment of $103.50 due to remodel and fixing their system, and he said he would tell bookings to refund me my money back. So for us to book out room he asked my husband to Apple Pay $153.50, so we did and then he has to open our room bc the doors and keys don’t work, about an hour later he came to our room at 1am banging on the door waking us up telling us we have to Apple Pay another $100 for the deposit and said that he would refund us $150 for the deposit. It’s been two months and I have not received nothing. I called and complained with the property and bookings but no one seems to care. And later on find out that they changed there number so the number that I Apple payed the money is no longer with the property and that they have new management, and that they can’t look up when I stayed there, because of the new management. I have not received my $103.50 nor my husbands $150.

The staff here are super friendly and always looking to find ways to better my stay. Always upgrading in order to meet customers needs.
The most important thing I liked (and required) was a safe, quiet place where I could get a good night's sleep, which I did. There were a couple holes in the drywall in the bathroom and the bathroom sink outlets didn't work but I could live with that. Staff needs to answer their phone when customers call, as they told me to call them to open the door at 7am so I could check out and I wasn't able to, after calling them six times in a row and they never answered. So I just left my room keycard slipped in the doorjamb hoping they would get it (which they did).
