Loved how close everything was so close, walkable. Great atmosphere. The pool/lazy river could have been cleaner but it seemed like they were in the middle of an out door refresh.
Pricing is all
Great stay for families close to downtown and Lackland AFB
The 2 bedroom villa (6 person room) was beautiful until looking closer. Doors did not open or close properly (any). Hot water ran out before filling up jetted tub. 1 pan to cook with (2 pots). Toilets soooo short, almost blew a knee out getting up. No place to hang wet towels. Shower sprayed onto floor. Construction going on at complex next to ours, loud and a lot if extra vehicles. The grounds were beautiful but needed more lighting on the pathways (dangerous). Towels had to be turned in at hut, led to freezing walk back to room. We knew there was no real food on site nor daily room service, we did not want that anyway. 1 hot tub too hot, sauna out of order, lazy river not heated (after calling to make sure it was working before booking) 1 hot tub out of order, hot tub that worked was really rough(texture). Pool was nice temp but it was 65* while we were there. Not sure if there was mobility rentals or not, sure could have used this for my 80 yo mother to get to classes, pool and visit the property. Should have been a refund offered for all of the issues. I cannot imagine having a timeshare rental and not being able to use 1/2 of the amenities. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Paid too much for what we got. IMO
nearly nothing rather than lobby design and fire pitch
From the very beginning, the check-in experience was confusing and inefficient. Although multiple papers were handed to me, the information provided was not communicated in a clear or practical manner. As a result, I was left without a proper understanding of basic hotel logistics. For example, obtaining pool towels required nearly 30 minutes of walking around the hotel, followed by returning to the lobby, only to be told that the towels were located elsewhere. There was no signage or prior explanation, and this information should have been clearly communicated at check-in.
In addition, restaurant operations were poorly communicated. Restaurants close very early, which was not clearly stated. More importantly, I was explicitly informed that the restaurant would be serving breakfast on the weekend; however, when I arrived at the restaurant the following morning, it was closed. This discrepancy was only discovered after physically going to the restaurant.
Regarding housekeeping, my room was not cleaned on the first day of my stay and was only serviced on the second day, without any prior notice or explanation.
The heated pool was also misleadingly presented. The pool temperature does not adapt adequately to sudden drops in outdoor temperature. When the weather became significantly colder, the pool heating was insufficient, making it uncomfortable to use. Therefore, labeling the pool as “heated” creates an expectation that guests can comfortably swim regardless of weather conditions, which was not the case.
Furthermore, many areas and facilities of the hotel were closed, with the explanation that this was due to the winter season. However, these closures were not disclosed in advance, which is critical information for guests when choosing accommodation. The steam room was open, while the sauna and changing rooms were closed, leaving no appropriate indoor space to change clothes. As a result, we were forced to change outdoors in approximately 24°F (-4°C) weather, wh
Despite premium pricing, the stay was marked by poor communication, closed facilities, and misleading expectations.

Most importantly, I would like to emphasize the fundamental mismatch between price, expectations, and actual service delivered. This is a hotel where guests are charged nearly twice the average accommodation rate in the city, yet there is no properly usable warm pool, limited food options, and a significant portion of the facilities are closed without prior disclosure. Guests are effectively left on their own, despite paying a premium price for what is marketed as a full-service property.
I would also like to raise a serious concern regarding pricing transparency on reservation platforms. The hotel initially appears to offer relatively competitive rates online; however, once guests arrive, substantial additional charges are applied, significantly increasing the final cost of the stay. I strongly advise future guests to read the reservation details very carefully and calculate the total cost in advance, as the final amount paid can be considerably higher than what is initially presented during booking.
Su alberca y el rio
Que el agua del rio es fria, y que no tienen. Desayunos disponibles.
the room was really nice and confortable
Got sold lies about the Hyatt timeshare and nothing was true about it. They will lie or do anything to sucker u in to there timeshare.program.
Dishonesty at the timeshare ruined anything and everything about the trip.
The rooms don’t have garbage disposal
Nice
They had a whole sex party next door till 3 am. Hotel security came then SA PD and they still didn’t stop. I asked to change rooms at least and was denied. And the next day they said it was my fault for using a third party booking.
The staff was great!! They planned activities for the children. They decorated their golf carts and gave out treats to the children, for free!! The staff attitudes were excellent 👏. There were plenty of activities offered daily for everyone ☺️. Everyone was happy to be there!! Keep up the great work!!
If they offered airport transportation. Some of the family had to pay for ubers or lyfts. The airport is about 45 minutes away. My only other complaints are the chipped paint on the floor of the outside, the culking in the shower( there was a gap/hole), the lazy river/pool needed cleaning, and JB's eatery should stay open until 9pm on the weekends
