The place is an economy hotel. You get what you pay for.
Pros:

The place was clean and was close to town and in walking distance to restaurants. Staff was very friendly. The place had a laundry facility and had plenty of parking. Had no issue with safety at this hotel.

Cons:

The place lacked amenities found in other places such as refrigerators, in room microwaves, elevator or pool. One ice machine for the entire building on the first floor. Gym was very small. The continental breakfast was substandard.

I had booked this because I had to go to my grandpas funeral and it was absolutely awful, dirty smelled like cigarettes
Pros:

It was dirty and not handicapped accessible

Cons:

It was dirty there was hair in the shower and brown splatter on the bathroom wall, and no fridge.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Nice places right near by.

The location was good

Cons:

The first room smelled so awful and we were stuck staying in it overnight. The both rooms had loose toilet seats and no shampoo in the bath!! Then we had a woman who looked like she was on drugs curse at us because we looked at her.

Pros:

Very clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly staff. No riff raff around. Good coffee in the lobby in the morning. No complaints at all. We will stay here again next time we are in Utica. We were visiting from Ohio

Cons:

We paid for two rooms with breakfast included. We were told that breakfast is from 6am to 9am. We got to the breakfast area at about 7:30am only to be told that breakfast is finished. There was absolutely nothing there for us. The lady at the front desk, when questioned about the breakfast, seemed not to care.This is highly unacceptable!

Cons:

I thought there was free breakfast but there was only coffee. there wee no washcloths and not even a small bar of soap in the bathroom.
