Wonderful beachfront hotel in the centre of Parksville.
Pros:

We had a 2nd floor ocean fronting room with a large balcony. We enjoyed watching the weather, the waves, the seals and the bunnies.

Super comfy bed, well equipped kitchen with an amazing view of the waterfront. The room had a washer and dryer and 2 bathrooms. Quiet and wonderful location. Free underground parking was a big plus.

Cons:

Minor thing... there were dirty dishes right outside our door when we arrived. They were there for another day and then the dishes were gone but the dirty napkins were still there for 3 days (?). Some dead moths and dust in the entrance to the room.

The location and beach front room was great. The ocean view was great. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Especially in the morning watching the numerous bunnies run around the beach. Would highly recommend, will definately be back

Pros:

The breakfast once we got, it was good, but the service was extremely slow. It took 20 minutes to get a cuppa coffee. I think they were understaffed.

Sehr schönes Hotel direkt am Meer
Pros:

Sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr guter Lage direkt am Meer, schöne komfortable Zimmer. Gutes Restaurant mit sehr guter Küche und hervorragenden Service. Wir haben uns sehr Wohl gefühlt.

Cons:

Hallenbad war etwas in die Jahre gekommen und wirkte ein wenig ungepflegt. Zimmer und Hotel könnten bei den hohen Übernachtungspreisen langsam eine Renovierung vertragen. Leider war der Aufzug defekt (Gepäck wurde vom Hotel auf das Zimmer gebracht).

Disappointed at management, booked last two nights in Parksville at different property.
Pros:

View from both rooms were great as is the location of hotel. Parking poor but offered Valet which was nice.

Cons:

Loss 2 nights of sleep due to totally worn out beds. Staff unable to move till third night of 4 night stay as property was 100% sold out. Both rooms in need of repairs and damaged furniture, Sad that management knew they were having bad bed issues but at $508.00 per night just not acceptable. The bed for night 3 & 4 was a little better but still very poor. Management discounted 1 night and has offered up penthouse for next visit at our current rate but really will have to think about that. We have stayed here 3 times before and always good with free upgrades.

The location was excellent, the boardwalk was fantastic and the staff were friendly and very helpful.

Cons:

We had a small utility trailer in tow. The staff were very helpful in finding a place to park, but the parking for larger trucks and any with trailers was very limited.
