Pros:

Staff were amazing. After a mess up with our bookig for there sister hotel I was very stressed out tryin to get sorted with new accommodation. But ALEX on reception was amazing with sorting out my new booking and an absolute pleasure to deal with. I really hope the hotel realise how lucky they are to have an employee of that nature. Shes a credit to the hotel. All staff lovely to be fair but Alex really stood out 👏

Cons:

Nothing. Liked everything about the hotel

Look elsewhere, not worth the price.
Pros:

The hotel was very central in the town, which was fantastic. The car-park was also quite spacious which was great. The shower was excellent, it was a power shower with superb pressure.

Cons:

I stayed for two nights and I thought the price tag of €608 for two nights, for a tiny room, with very basic in room facilities was extortionate. When people heard the price for the two nights they were aghast at the cost. What was also daylight robbery was the fact for €608 it didn't come with breakfast. The hotel offered breakfast at a rate of €12.50 for each day, amounting to €25 for breakfast on both days. The hotel is obviously quite old, but I thought it could of done with a lick of paint, and the balcony off the bistro area, overlooked what appeared to be a courtyard that was unkempt to say the least. Would I stay here again, absolutely not if im being honest, I am from Dublin, and for €608 for two nights stay I would expect far better rooms and amenities on offer. If I was to give an honest pricing for the room I would say a fair price of €120 a night would be adequate and fair. I felt robbed paying the price I paid for two nights, and my friends that were also staying in the town thought it madness that the hotel would charge such a rate, and to not include breakfast is daylight robbery. Personally speaking I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a stay. I booked this hotel through Booking.com and I picked the option to pay on arrival, as I don't like using my credit card online. I used my revolut disposable card to acquire the booking, but the day before the hotel tried to charge my card, and I had to contact the premises to inform them that I chose the pay on arrival option when booking. Out of 10, id give it a rating of 4, and as mentioned above that is purely based on the location, the shower and car-park.
