Sehr gute Lage und Ausstattung, sehr schöner Poolbereich

Cons:

War auf unserer Rundreise das Hotel mit den unfreundlichsten Mitarbeitern. Auch die Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet war für ein 4 Sterne Hotel nicht gut. Das Protea Marriott in Mosselbay bitte unbedingt als Vorbild nehmen - dort gab es ein hervorragendes Frühstück und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr höflich und hilfsbereit. Waren deshalb vom Protea Marriot Franschhoek enttäuscht.

The location and the hotel design , rooms, pool area are fantastic !!
Wonderful friendly and helpful staff

Cons:

The breakfast was average , rather disappointing and a cappuccino or flat white coffee when received was burning hot and undrinkable, coffees tasted burnt and should not be made at boiling hot temperatures.

If I have to find anything negative about the property it is the inconsistency of service levels of the friendly staff at dinner in the hotel’s restaurant!

Nice and decent.
Pros:

The location of this hotel is super. City centred, located on the main street and close to the wine tram. Room was decent, bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. Shower was very nice and comfortable.

Cons:

Overall the hotel looks a bit outdated and there is some wear and tear throughout. Breakfast offering was very limited and items hardly got replaced during the 2 days we had breakfast. The pool is okay (convenient but nothing special) and the balcony we had het was “to share” with our 2 neighbours. There was much light coming from the hallway, through the curtains and from the television.

For the price we paid, we expected more.
