Hotel Poggio Del Sole

Hyggelig familiedrevet hotell høyt beliggende i åsen bak Forio. Sjefen selv var meget behjelpelig med å kjøre oss til/fra byen! Lite, men hyggelig basseng og terrasse, og rommet hadde egen, stor terrasse med bord, stoler og to solsenger. Frokost med god variasjon i maten. Det eneste vi har å utsette på rommet, var problemer med at toalettet ikke ville fylle seg, slik at vi ikke fikk trukket ned. Aircondition ble aldri kjølig nok, men blåste i alle fall lufyen rindt! Sa ifra, men lite å gjøre med problemet. Ellers alt bra, og utsikten og solnedgangen fra hotellet var helt fantastisk!

A hidden gem if you like to explore and to walk, easy access to Giardini di Poseidon (direct bus), very nice and friendly management, alway ready to help. You can rent a scooter as well, if you prefer to ride. Thank you.

Familiedrevet hotell med topp service. Nydelig lokasjon, med en fantastisk utsikt. Enkel, men god frokost.
Virkelig en opptur og her får du mye for pengene. Koselig og innholdsrikt bassengområdet. Barna kunne bade når de ville.
Anbefaler å leie scooter eller bil for å komme seg rundt på øye. Enkelt å navigere seg i trafikken, og rimelige priser for leiebil. Hotelleier og hans familie er veldig behjelpelig med alt.

Americo and his family were very nice and attentive, he gave us a lift to Negombo thermal park, made some calls to a local boat rental company and offered to take me and my family to the port at the end of our stayed. Just keep in mind that the hotel is 30 min walking from forio port

Sono stato in questa struttura per il ponte del 2 giugno e l’ho trovata in una posizione davvero comoda per visitare i luoghi più belli di Ischia. Io mi sono spostato in motorino — mezzo che consiglio vivamente per girare l’isola — ma c’è anche una fermata dell’autobus proprio di fronte alla struttura, quindi è facilmente raggiungibile anche con i mezzi pubblici.

L’unica nota da considerare è che, senza un mezzo autonomo, per raggiungere le stanze bisogna affrontare un tratto in salita.
Tuttavia, la vista mozzafiato su tutta Ischia dall’alto e la zona ben ventilata — perfetta per godersi le serate anche nei giorni più caldi — sono un plus.

E poi, impossibile non citare Amerigo, un ospite eccezionale che rende l’esperienza ancora più piacevole.
Tornerò sicuramente più volte!

Wow! An absolutely wonderful place with a fantastic view over Forio. But above all, truly incredible service and hospitality from Amerigo and his family.
In addition to making breakfast and mixing amazing Aperol Spritz, he went out of his way to help us several times and was extremely kind and helpful. We even extended our stay by an extra night because we enjoyed it so much, and it broke our hearts to leave.

Abbiamo alloggiato in questa struttura per il ponte del 2 giugno e la nostra esperienza è stata eccellente. I punti di forza sono la tranquillità, gli spazi esterni, la colazione e la gentilezza del signor Amerigo e della sua famiglia.

Petit hôtel familial surplombant la ville de Forio, avec une vue magnifique.
La chambre est confortable.
L'accueil est très sympathique et convivial.

Supertrevlig vistelse, vår första på Ischia. Hotellet ligger högt med en vacker utsikt över Forio. Världens trevligaste bemötande.

Peaceful place and such a beautiful view. The Host was very kind and helpful.

The proprietor, Amerigo was charming, kind and willing to help with any request. He and his wife are exceptionally welcoming.

Parking available, magnificent view, highly recommend!!;)

We booked this stay last minute while in Italy, the views from our balcony were incredible. The transfers to forio and all around helped fill our stay with incredible memories. We got info of things to do and what buses to take, which helped us get around the island. When I got sick the whole family helped us out and we are tremendously appreciative! The food at the restaurant below the hotel was delicious. We felt safe and well taken care of, this place is a gem and made our Ischia vacation an absolute dream experience.

Kleines gepflegtes Hotel in ruhiger grüner Umgebung. Sehr sauber, schöne Poolanlage. Amerigo und seine Frau extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Amerigo gibt sehr gute Tipps für Ausflüge und fährt einen zudem auch überall hin Toller Service!

Amerigo and all the other staff were incredibly friendly and helpful which made our time in Ischia all the better. It is away from the main town, but it’s worth it for the amazing views we had from our terrace. Amerigo helped us understand the local buses and offered lifts into Forio if we needed one. The restaurant next door was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel!

Ho alloggiato in quest’hotel 2 giorni e sono rimasto veramente stupito. Camere pulite comprese di tutti i confort, per non parlare del bellissimo terrazzino con un panorama mozzafiato. Il proprietario gentilissimo che è stato sempre a nostra disposizione. Colazione giusta con prodotti di qualità. Ci torneremo sicuramente!!!!

A family run hotel. Pool area was nice with lovely views. Delicious food at family restaurant at the end of the short driveway. Giuseppe was one of the most hardworking people we've met. He was so helpful and attentive to his guests, Thank you Giuseppe for all the lifts.

Hotel familial avec piscine. Nous avons apprécié la chambre, assez vaste pour une famille avec 4 enfants. Jardinet devant. Petit-déjeuner au restaurant, a quelques pas de l'hôtel (avec une grande pente entre les 2). La piscine aurait besoin de plus d'entretien mais est très appréciable. Literie bonne, panorama magnifique! A 1,5 km de la plage. Parking (très) petit. A refaire? Oui!
