What I liked most about ANA Crowne Plaza was how incredibly convenient everything was. The hotel is only around five minutes from Naha Airport, and they also offer transfer buses throughout the day, which made travelling to and from the airport so easy.
The staff were absolutely lovely — so friendly, welcoming and accommodating from the moment we arrived. They were always happy to help, including offering to take our luggage upstairs for us, which was especially appreciated.
The hotel itself has so many convenient facilities. There is a FamilyMart inside the hotel, which was perfect for picking up food and essentials, and they also allow you to send your luggage on to other hotels, which made travelling around Okinawa and Japan much easier.
There are also food options within the hotel, as well as restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away, including a barbecue restaurant around 2–5 minutes from the hotel.
Overall, it was such a convenient and comfortable hotel, particularly because of its location and the helpfulness of the staff. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere convenient near Naha Airport.
There honestly wasn’t much that I disliked about the hotel. The only thing I noticed was that there appeared to be an imprint on the bath from what looked like a previous bath mat. It wasn’t dirt, but it did look a little like a mark that hadn’t been cleaned off, so perhaps this could be checked between guests.
The room was also a little on the smaller side, but considering we paid around £30 per person per night, I really can’t complain. For the price, location, convenience and level of service, I thought the hotel offered great value for money.

Only that it’s aging. It’s a non-smoking hotel but there is the residual effect of past days…
