no sleep - too hot - very disturbed
Cons:

problem was the sound of drilling that meant no sleep and then a power cut which resulted in no air conditioning on a very hot night - both led to very very little sleep

This hotel is in dire need of a refresh.
Pros:

This hotel is in dire need of a refresh. The building is old, sure, but you can do A LOT with a soft refurb/refresh. Every room is dark and therefore feels extremely small and dated. I would not return to this hotel until a soft refurb is completed.

The only redeeming factor was receptionist Jude. He was kind, knowledgeable and extremely patient. I arrived after a horrendous journey in the midst of a hen party on the Eurostar and had no patience left. Jude managed to shift my mood around by remaining calm and professional. He is excellent (and deserves a better product to work with)!

Pros:

The staff, the room with air conditioning, the availability of chilled drinking water and ice at reception.

Cons:

No hot water for part of our stay and the TV not working for a period of time. Both problems were sorted by the staff.

Highly Recommend!
Pros:

We loved this hotel! The location was excellent with lots of grocery stores, cafes, and restaurants nearby. The receptionists were very nice and we enjoyed the basket of fresh pastries that was at the desk each afternoon. We walked to two different metro stops that were about 10 minutes away; we walked up to Sacré Coeur and the Wall of Love. It felt great to come back to our big king bed and quiet room after a busy day in Paris. The bathroom was exceptional and modern and we really appreciated the kettle and fridge. Great stay!
